Jean and Peter make some of the best Thai food in our area, that’s why we have been eating there since they opened. We like all of their dishes but my favorites are their peanut dressing and Pad Thai which for my taste buds taste better than anywhere else.

Nice little hidden place with tasty food, and a warm atmosphere. There’s plenty of parking. There’s always someone dining here, but I’ve never had to wait for a table. My typical order is Pas see ew. Good food. Good deals.

Came here alone on a weekday 8:30pm quiet night. Some diners had said great things about this place, others said it is average, but my lack of choice forced me to try this tiny Thai Restaurant. Food wise I got to said that I must have tasted all the best Thai food in Thailand, and given this price tag that they are selling how can we fault them with creativity and ingredients?

Excellent Thai food and service. I always get the fried rice but also love any of their meals with the flat rice noodles. It feels family-owned and the food could not be fresher. Will continue to go again and again for a healthy, tasty lunch.

My new go to place for Thai! Service is always friendly and the food is consistently very good! If you haven’t eaten here, you really should!

I luv this place! Friendly and inviting, with a real air of home-cooked enjoyment. The staff are genuinely warm and never fail to recognise my son & I, after our weekly sports practices. We both have tried quite a few dishes but have settled on certain favs, that are consistently scrummy! Excellent food, wonderful staff and a real hidden gem.

I went to Tasty Siam for dinner yesterday night with my besties, Lauren and Dea. The waitress was very attentive and friendly; the Thai tea was delicious; the food was«tasty» and yummy. We had the pad see ew, yellow chicken curry and the Thai BBQ chicken. The BBQ chicken was my favorite; it was so juicy and had so much flavor! I’ll definitely make another visit to this restaurant in the near future.

This place has literally been within walking distance of my house for years, and I’ve never gone in to try it. Today, my dad and I decided to give it a shot. Also before I continue, I should mention that I really wanted to like this place. Perhaps that explains why I’m giving it four stars instead of three. The woman at the front was very nice as she greeted us, brought us water and took out orders. She was the only person we saw working here on a Friday night, so something told me this might be a bad sign. But as we chowed down on delicious Thai salads and wontons, I thought«okay, I guess this will be a good meal». I had thought too soon. Eating the yellow chicken curry, I wondered if I’m remembering the taste correctly or if this dish really is supposed to be sweet enough to give you instant diabetes. I exaggerate a bit but it truly tasted more like dessert than dinner. I will definitely give this place another try with the red curry, but if they give me cavities again, I’m afraid this restaurant will be on my no-fly list.

Amazing Thai food. I’ve been coming here since I was little and I highly recommend the angel wings.

REALLY good Thai food — I like how they make food in a «homestyle» manner: Their Pad Thai does not taste like the Pad Thai you find at any typical Thai restaurant. It tastes more like the kind someone’s mother would make you as a guest at their home. Large portions too! I also always get their spear mint chicken because the contrast makes it so delicious! Free white or brown rice with your order as well! I also like how its a family run restaurant — they really care about how their customer service and quality of food is. I will continue to eat here until I have tried every single item on the menu!

It’s been years since I’ve eaten here but stopped here for lunch with my my, sister and grandma recently. I had a small Tom Yum Gong soup and the Udon stir fry with shrimp. One word = Yummmmmmmmm. Everything taste so fresh and flavorful! I will be back sooner rather than later!

Fine authentic Thai cuisine, a little on the pricey side, but a lot on the tasty side. The ambience is quiet, with instrumental string music playing, soft lighting, and a total seating capacity of about thirty. But there’s a lot of activity in the kitchen, where a small staff works constantly to create excellent dishes from the menu of over 100 items. Wait time is a bit longer than average, but it’s worth the wait: This is the best Thai food in the Palos Verdes/San Pedro area. I tried the usuals: chicken satay, red and yellow curry, and spicy salad, and all of them were terrific. The sticky rice and mango dessert was also a cut above local competitors(and there are a lot of them nearby). Spend an extra ten minutes and another dollar or two on superior Thai food here. You’ll be a lot happier!

Excellent Thai food! Highly recommended. Tasty Siam has some of the best Thai food I’ve tasted. I read a couple of reviews complaining about the authenticity of the flavors and ingredients. I can’t vouch for that, having never visited Thailand. I can say that their food does differ slightly from other Thai restaurants I’ve been to, but it’s probably because the chefs are from a different region of Thailand. My friend and I ordered the cashew vegetables with crispy tofu, and the yellow curry, plus the iced tea. The flavors were incredible! We couldn’t stop eating. Plus, the portions were just right(not too big) and the prices were reasonable. The only annoying part was when the waitress brought the check immediately after our meal. We were still contemplating dessert! The venue is ok, but it could definitely use a facelift. Our waitress was very sweet, I just wish she had been a little more attentive and asked if we wanted anything more before delivering the bill. All in all though, a great meal.

Been coming to this place for a while now. I’m Thai and of course this is my favorite type of food. So believe me when I say this place is DELICIOUS. I always always get Gai-kua with fish sauce and could always use some prig-king or temple noodles. The House noodle soup is authentic too. The dishes aren’t too salty and come out relatively fast. Panang is the best type of curry in my opinion! The service is great, very friendly. And they always recognize us! Place has been open since 1992, hope it stays open(:

Ordered pad thai, pad see ew, and papaya salad to go. Food was decent, can’t say it’s legit Thai food — but it’s tasty and satisfied my cravings. They are generous with shrimp and portions and the prices are very affordable. Only con, de-vein the shrimp better. It was unfortunate to eat a papaya salad and pad thai with the grainy texture of shrimp poo in every other bite.

Pla Goong(grilled shrimp salad) is a menu standout. The shrimp are butterflied and taste grilled fresh to order and are still warm on the salad. I’ve even had it to-go! Yellow curry was amazing and just fine at «medium» spice level. $ 11.95 pad thai with shrimp was solid, nice portion with plenty of carrots, peanuts and tofu.

Tokyo grill was closed so I came here instead. It was delicious! Very fresh! The noodles tasted great and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. Veggies were crunchy and overall it was really good.

This is one of my family’s favorite places for Thai food. It’s not necessarily the cheapest place for some Thai food, but for the most part, the quality of food is good. When you order take-out, they put it in a to-go plate that is handy to reuse for your own lunches and such. There were a few times where their pad see ew was bad. It must’ve been old or the noodles really overcooked. I’m not holding it against them though.

My family has been dining here for almost 2 decades now and will continue to do so as this is our favorite local Thai restaurant. The price is great and the food is phenomenal. I’ve had Pad Thai numerous places and only a couple have come close to the flavor of Tasty Siam. The dressing on the Thai Chicken Salad is a thick egg/mustard sauce and definitely the highlight of the dish. Sometimes they run out of Angel Wings so if you’re dying to try them, call ahead just to be sure! The waitress and owner are very sweet and always joke that they know what we will be ordering. Recommend: Pad Thai Angel Wings Chicken/Beef Satay Thai Chicken Salad

3.5 out of 5. I’d recommend the dinner special as you get quite a bit of food for $ 12.50. It’s pretty much a three-course meal. Great for takeout too. Make sure your park on the lower side of the parking lot, but if you park on the upper side where the Starbucks is, they do have stairs that connect.
