I love coming here for the variety it offers my family on a Thursday night. Plus the Kogi truck comes every week, and they have the best KBBQ tacos and burritos. This is an army of gourmet food trucks, and definitely worth the time. They have gourmet cupcakes and ice cream, if you’re looking for dessert too. Dang it. Now I’m gonna have to go this week too. :-)

This is super cool and will definitely visit again. The trucks are there every third Thursday of the month. I went to the Grilled Cheese Truck, the cupcake truck and Ragin Cajun truck. I ordered the French Onion Soup melt and added pear. It was a gooey, cheesy wonder with the French onions and the pear was a nice add on, with just the right crispiness. I ordered a carrot cake cupcake from the cupcake truck(don’t remember their exact name) and it was amazing. It had real cream cheese frosting and was like a mini home-made cake– simply delicious! My girlfriend and I split the fried catfish and shrimp appetizer from Ragin Cajun and it was a bit pricey for what we got. It was good, but average good, nothing stand out.

Local high school that allows its parking lot to be utilized by food trucks. The food trucks are your favorite gourmet ones that can be found throughout LA County. There’s something for everyone, bbq, Mexican inspired dishes, American inspired dishes, Korean inspired dishes, infusions of various inspired cultural dishes, lemonade, sushi, etc. It usually involves 5 to 10 trucks, all serving up their unique dishes to the masses. If you are ever in the South Bay area, specifically Harbor City, swing by Narbonne High School for the amazing food truck gathering. It starts around 530pm every Thursday and ends around 930pm. I recommend showing up around 530pm to beat the crowd and get your food early. Seating is limited, it can get crowded, food can take a while to cook when it is crowded.

Its there every Thursday evening. There is a wide variety of foods. Plenty of street and lot parking. A little bit more expensive than tge traditional truck, but the q uality of the food is worth it.

I didn’t realize this place was on Unilocal so when I saw it I had to review. I am a huge foodie and i love the gourmet trucks at Narbonne, been attending Thursday nights for as long as I can remember. I have sampled from so many trucks, i couldn’t begin to name them all. But some of my faves are: Frach’s Fried Ice Cream, Rain Cajun, Grilled Cheese Truck, Gravy Train, Belly Bombz, Rancho a Go Go Barbeque, Buttermilk Truck, Baby’s Badass Burgers, Trailer Park Truck, Mac-o-licious, Japadog, Chili Philosopher, just to name a few. The guy who runs the event is very friendly and always makes himself known if anyone has questions. They do have restrooms, plenty of tables and chairs, wish they had an AMT near by tho. I usually arrive a little later or when it begins because I like to sit back at one of the tables and enjoy the variety and it does get crowded…

Many different of variety of food trucks every Thursday. Some weeks have more than others, but nevertheless it’s still great. You can try out many different types of food without even having to travel far. There’s everything from Asian, Mexican, American and even some pretty delicious desserts. But, of course since it is food trucks, the prices are a bit higher than going to any conventional fast food, but well worth it. And you can’t go wrong with the hang loose vibe you get with the people here.

I finally made my way over to Narbonne High School parking lot, in Harbor City, for Thursday night food truck night(Aka DinDinAGoGo). I got there about 5:30pm w/no problem finding parking and no long lines, a Big Plus! :) Overall rating I would give for my experience is 3.5 stars. Perhaps my expectations were a bit high, as this was on my list of places to visit for a long time. I was super excited and thought we were lucky in the South Bay for having a semi-perm weekly food truck gathering we can go to. When I think of food trucks, I think of fast food and fast service, at least from the time my order’s placed. I also think of exotic experimental catering. I only ordered food from two food trucks: Kogi’s and Seoul Sausage Co. Kogi’s: –Short Rib Taco This was just okay but much better than the sliders, IMO… on soft corn tortillas topped with shredded lettuce. –Short Rib Sliders Two sliders with shredded lettuce and cheese. I personally didn’t like my short ribs mixed with cheese. Short Ribs was too saucy for me and I didn’t like the taste of it with cheese. Side of Kimchi –I was looking forward to eating my short ribs with crunchy kimchi but what i received was something that looked like kimchi jjigae(kimchi stew). Seoul Sausage Co –Lil’ Osaka Ball Japanese curry rice ball with beef and potatoes served with shoga sriracha. This little ball was Da Bomb but I’m not sure I’d wait 20 minutes for it from the time the order was placed. I’m not sure if I’d go back as I wasn’t really interested in checking out the other trucks that were there that night. I heard that there are different trucks rotating so it’s best to check from time to time.

Being a growing food truck cuisine enthusiast, this place hit the spot for me. Loads of different trucks to choose from but I chose two, Kogi and Paradise. I was really excited to finally get my hands on some Kogi tacos considering they are one of the pioneers of the food truck culture that has been established recently. I got the #1 combo(3 tacos + a drink): spicy pork, short rib, and tofu on corn tortillas, and boy does their food live up to their name. The spicy pork was succulent and tasted just like dwaejibulgogi, short rib was solid, and the tofu had a sweet glaze on it I believe that made it full of flavor, unlike most tofu-based fusion dishes. All of these fillings were amazing with their corn tortillas; not too soggy or hard, and had that natural mealiness to it that is reminiscent of Mexican cuisine. And the best part? All of this plus a drink for only $ 8! You can’t beat that for tacos of this quality. After finishing up my tacos I made my way over to the Paradise Cookies & Ice Cream truck. I really like how they bake their cookies fresh in the truck and have a wide variety of different, but unique ice cream flavors/cookies to choose from. I got myself an ice cream cookie sandwich with horchata ice cream between a snickerdoodle and a crushe Oreo cookie. Instead of providing a wrapper of some sort they give you it in an ice cream cup which I was just fine with because. I opted out of eating it like an actual sandwich and just ate it out of the cup to prevent messiness. Their horchata ice cream is SO bomb, it is not merely cinnamon ice cream folks, but legit horchata with real speckles of cinnamon sugar. As for the cookies, they were big and soft and together with the ice cream provided a great ending to a meal. Not to mention that it was only $ 4.25, not bad! I’m more than happy that I made the decision to stop by and grab a bite here because I got a quality dinner and dessert for a little over $ 12. The atmosphere is very chill here as well despite the loud whirring of the trucks and lack of tables. There are many other trucks to try out so I’ll definitely be finding an excuse to stop by in the next incoming Thursdays.

Love having the opportunity to try some favorite food trucks as well as new ones every thursday. If you’re new, from my knowledge, every thursday, Narbonne hosts this event where I would say about 10 or less of different food trucks are in one place at the same time! This is such a great opportunity to fill a craving with popular trucks like Kogi, white rabbit, or to try new a new one! I’ve been here a few times and honestly, every time i’m here there is always a new or different truck I’ve never tried before. You can definitely find something that will catch your eye and stomach! Whether it be something savory or something sweet, there will definitely be something here for you! There is plenty of parking, since the event is located inside the parking lot inside the school as well as side street parkings. As for tables and chairs, there is a good amount of chairs and tables but sometimes if you’re here with a big group, hard to get one for you all. Don’t fret, you can always eat in your car, or sit on the curb, be creative with the area, you’ll definitely find a place for you to sit and eat and enjoy the food! Definitely should try this at least once if you’re in the area! Its rare to find yourself around so many food trucks at one time and have it have free entry.

I can’t believe they’re doing food truck meet ups at my old high school now. It’s been forever since I’ve been back, but I had to go today to check it out and grab some food. There were around 10 or 11 trucks when I went and the selection changes week to week. If you want to know ahead of time what’s going to be there, then be sure to check the website first! Lots of great things to choose from, I really just wanted to try everything! Lines were decent and moved fairly quickly and there are a few tables and chairs to eat at if you get lucky and can manage to grab a seat(they go quick, good luck!). Totally cool, will def be returning(I’m hoping Belly Bombz returns!). Great place to try something new, grab dinner, and hang with friends.

Having food trucks within your place is a blessing… who doesn’t love food trucks? I have been aware of food trucks at Narbonne High and finally I was able to go. I saw the Koji truck and had a bit of a line. I have tried it before and it was good. I opted to skip this time and try… oh my Japadog… have heard of it, haven’t tasted. Got myself a Kurobuta Terimayo. It’s a Kurobuta sausage with teriyaki sauce, mayo, onion, and seaweed. First bite was very tasty and juicy. Now I understand why Anthony Bourdain is smiling at the picture posted… it was good! But some may find it salty to their liking because of the seaweed. There are other choices which I hope I can try next time I come here. Then I tried the Sweet Strawberry Velvet from the Royal Velvet Cupcake truck. Not too sweet, not crumbly… just alright. Maybe there are other flavors better than what I tried. Come by Thursdays 5:30 — 8:30 pm if you’re within the area… parking is good and no worries about having no tables or chairs. The LAPD was having a good meal eating on top of the trunks of their patrol cars!

Love that they decided to bring food trucks all together in one place! The time I went, the Kogi and the White Rabbit trucks were both there which I both absolutely love! Parking has also never been an issue for me since they have an entire parking spot at Narbonne High for use. Also, since this is technically«fast food» a lot of people just come and go, mostly taking food to-go. I am not rating this 5⁄5 because of the limited number of tables and chairs. You literally have to be «lucky» if you’re able to find a spot to eat right away. Otherwise, you will have to keep looking until someone leaves or just bring your food home. Overall, come here HUNGRY because you will have several options to eat from your main course to even desserts!

Probably one of the best food lots in LA! I’ve been following and blogging about food trucks since the beginning, and going to Southbay din din a go go since the beginning, when it was LomoArigato and pals hopping lots from K1 go carts, to Kmart to PepBoys and every nook and cranny lot in between. Glenn does a tremendous job getting LA trucks at this lot, and is one of the few guys who will give new gourmet food trucks(GFT) their much needed first break. I cannot tell you how many GFT debuts I’ve been to! The event is very well organized, and even the police stop by, not just to visit, but to eat! Every Thursday you can find the latest and greatest food trucks, and most recently the big daddy of them all: KogiBBQ has been camping out here… Yes, the same GFT who used to not play with others. This tells you how impressive it is that the granddaddy is willing to share space with other food trucks now. At this location you will find tables and chairs, but it’ll be easier if you brought your own or plan on eating in your car. There’s plenty of parking, but be prepared to park on the street, if needed. If you’re not into the food truck scene, don’t judge the lot solely by the food trucks. Every week the selection changes. Think of it as a revolving food court. There are some«resident» trucks, but most of the time you’ll find one GFT this week, and the following week replace with another one. So if you’ve been looking forward to try a specific truck, you may need to make that special trip to Narbonne to try it. Each food truck is operated by their own owners, so if you have a problem with a specific food truck, take it up with that particular truck. If you received an excellent experience, do tell Glenn so he can invite them back. The food truck is the best way for an up-and-coming chef to try being his own boss in the food industry without using a lot of capital. Some food trucks will fail, and some food trucks will blossom to where they open up their own restaurant. Regardless, you can say you try them here at Narbonne din din a go go!

If your a foodie like me then your gonna love coming here! A line full of gourmet food trucks is always great! Its every Thursday from 5:30−9 at Narbonne High. They usually have 7 – 10 trucks lined up for your eating desires. Its always a good variety to pick from which is nice. My daughter loves the Street kitchen truck, they have a delicious lobster slider she enjoys with the chipotle slaw. I really love their lobster grilled cheese. Its gooey, and a nice portion size. Last time we came, we arrived right at 5:30 and all the trucks were there which displayed promptness. Most of the trucks take cash only so bring at least $ 60. The street kitchen truck which seems to be the most popular takes cards. I would like them to provide more tables and chairs. There was more than enough room to add about 4 more tables, its always helpful. Next time i may just bring my little fold up beach chair, lol cause i hate standing and eating and so does my little one. If your not in the mood to cook stop by here and grab a bite, I’m sure one of these trucks will have something you will love!

Excellent gathering of trucks! This was my first time here and it was pretty good but to be honest, some trucks didn’t quite live up to the hype. The best part about this DinDinAGoGo is the location for sure. There is plenty of parking in the high school lot but there could have been a few more tables for the amount of people that showed up. Other than that, I was able to try: White Rabbit Truck — probably my favorite *savory* truck of the night. Only had a beefsteak taco but it was scrumptious. Very flavorful and tender meat with a nice topping of slaw. Super fast service and good price point. Really want to try their pork belly! Lobos Truck — just had a sample here of the«wachos». Excellent waffle fries, perfectly crispy, but I didn’t care for the version I tried. It had buffalo sauce and bleu cheese which I personally prefer on my wings. The OG looks like a winner though, will have to try it next time! Speaking of wings… Belly Bombz — I have to say, I was really disappointed with this truck. I was super excited to try it after reading such amazing reviews but I was really let down. Tried the boneless Firecracker wings and the Pork Belly Sliders but both were lacking flavor. The Firecracker sauce on the wings was not spicy at all and the sliders were basically bread and slaw while the meat was completely lost. While the crisp on the belly was good, there was zero richness, smokiness, porkiness, anything! I knew I was eating pork belly… but I simply could not taste it. How can you lose the flavor of such a delicious piece of meat? Eating these actually made me kind of sad, especially since I had just spent $ 18 on two little paper dishes of food. Their slaw, however, was quite tasty. Street Kitchen LA — Had their fancy schmancy Surf & Turf quesadilla which had filet mignon and bay shrimps with a 4 cheese blend and pico de gallo. This was a decent quesadilla but, for $ 16 a pop, there was too much surf and not enough turf. This wasn’t the first time I’ve had filet in street style food either and while they are both things I love on their own, together it doesn’t work for me. The filet, since it is so tender & juicy, makes everything very wet and the flavor is so delicate that it gets completely negated by the pungent onion and cilantro. Also the fact that they put the pico de gallo IN the quesadilla didn’t really help. This was a very wet dish, but it was at least a little more worth it money wise. Paradise Cookies & Ice Cream — This truck is like a more simple and basic CoolHaus. The ice cream flavors are much more standard fare but they seemed to have a wider variety of cookie flavors. I had the Nutella ice cream in a cone and the consistency was spot on but I wanted more Nutella flavor. My dining buddy had the Horchata ice cream though and it was amazing. We also tried the Brownie Walnut cookie which was pretty mind blowing. Not only was the cookie still warm, but they somehow managed to fit the texture and flavor of a brownie into a cookie. It was quite amazing and probably the best thing we had there that evening. Loved the variety and will definitely come back another Thursday evening!

GREATVENUE! I stumbled onto this mini food truck fest at Narbonne High during the summer, and I’ve been hooked since then. They gather on Thurs. evenings and they have 2 – 3 different food trucks each time and about 4 regular trucks. My family and I have tried the following food trucks: — Toro Truck — The Feeding Frenzy — The Surfer Taco Truck — The Roll’n Lobster Truck — The Mango Ice Truck The Toro Truck has a surprisingly tasty selection of tacos and sandwiches. I tried their Chicken Sandwich which was both healthy and satisfying. The Feeding frenzy has a variety of treats from corn dogs, and cheese fries, to kettle corn. The Surfer Taco Truck serves up a variety of delicious tacos and burritos. I tried their Grilled Fish Tacos with their special sauce, it was quite good. The Roll’n Lobster truck serves up has everything from Lobster Rolls, Crab Cakes, to Shrimp Tacos. The Mango Ice Truck is serves up frosty treats like Strawberry Lemonade Ice, Cherry Ice, and of course Mango Ice :) The only downside is that it gets a bit crowded at times so you have to be sure to get a seat at a table, or you are eating on your feet. Other than that basically this venue is sure to have something for everyone, so I highly recommend paying Narbonne High a visit on a Thur. evening.

My son attends Narbonne High and was practicing for football, when we decided to stay for dinner. Glad we did! Food was excellent! So now, we said that we will come every Thursday for dinner. We ate a little somethin… somethin…from several trucks! Then we had funnel cake to top it all off! The trucks take cash, but I saw that some take debit and credit cards, too. I put a yes for catering, because some trucks are willing to come to parties that you may be throwing or other events and another said that we can order certain dishes for catering, but check with the specific truck on what they can do. There is plenty of outdoor seating, but you need to get there early and grab a table. We were there as the trucks were pulling in and setting up, so we grabbed a table and just waited until my son finished practice, then ordered food. Some people grabbed food and just sat in the back of their trucks and ate. There is a security guard to make sure that it’s a fun and safe experience for all. There is plenty of parking in Narbonne’s lot and if not, there is street parking. I’m glad that they are doing this at the school and I hope they keep up the tradition. I never know when there is a food truck festival and I enjoy the craze, so it’s nice that we get so many choices, here.

Love the set up here at the Southbay DinDinAGoGo. Every Thursday at Narbonne High School in Harbor City, a handful of trucks will come around and set up under the parking lot solar panels in a semi circle and create this neat little food truck court. As for the lineup of the trucks, they change every Thursday, with some come once a month or some as repeats. Bigger name trucks can be found here at times, like Kogi, Grilled Cheese, and Komodo. Been to a few times and generally there is at least 1 truck that I’m really excited to try. Of course, some of the trucks are a bit hit & miss for me. Definitely bring your appetite and your wallet. I love getting one item from a few and make it into a meal. However, truck foods aren’t that cheap so wallet definitely takes a hit every time haha. Last time they ran a promotion with Ford for a free grilled cheese sandwich from the Grilled Cheese truck. They should do promotions more often! Parking is allowed at the school’s parking lot. There’s always street parking as well. I like how the solar panels also serves as a roof on those rainy nights. Not much complaints except that the bathroom is a bit far and I do wish that there are more tables/chairs though.

So much fun! Be prepared for crowds and stalking people who are almost done eating in order to secure you and your party a place to sit. Parking was not an issue, but seating was. Lines too were also pretty reasonable, except of course for the most popular trucks(they had really long lines) — that is a given. DJ makes the place go wild… just kidding but he was playing pretty good music. The food was excellent. Even if it sucked, there is just something so cool about food trucks. You would pretend to like it anyway. The best part? For me that was watching my Dad get really excited and want to try everything. He loves food trucks but we dont have very many where we are from. He bought so much food. we were stuffed(and lets be honest some of those combinations of eating from 7 different trucks is hard on the tummy). Great experience for me, I want to go back!!!
