Exercise Equipment Northwest

I wanted to give a shout out to Bill in the service department. Last year I bought a precor stationary bike from Craigslist. It stopped working. Bill helped me diagnose the problem and walked me through fixing it over the phone. He was very patient, helpful, and friendly. I’m really glad to know about the excellent service department and will not hesitate to purchase equipment from them in the future. Thanks Bill!

Bought a Concept 2 indoor rower! Super happy with the whole experience ! Love me some no pressure sales. The manager Dan was informative and knowledgeable about what would work for ME. Did my research online but you can really only find out so much. Was nice to just chat with someone! Thanks so much for the fun transaction !!

I’m an outdoor kind of girl and absolutely love to go hiking and wander around our beautiful area, or lie under a tree looking up at the sky, but I’m a total wimp when it comes to cold weather.
So this year I decided to buy an indoor rowing machine for Christmas so I could get some indoor recreation (while blasting tunes on my iPod) until the weather turns. I did a lot of web research to decide on the make and model. Ended up narrowing my search to the Concept 2 brand, which funnily enough was the same machine I used in college when I was on crew. It is the Cadillac of rowing machines I’m told.
Well, they are a little hard to come by so most of the other sporting goods stores don’t carry them. I ended up calling the Exercise Equipment NW store in Clackamas and they were great over the phone.
Stopped in and got exceptional customer service. Which was a really nice surprise during the holiday season when most of your shopping experiences involve surly patrons and frazzled store employees.
They asked lots of great questions, talked about what we wanted out of the machine, showed us different models and different types of equipment (treadmills, ellipiticals, exercise bikes), but weren’t pushy or hovering. They let us spend as much time as we wanted playing on the different machines.
Most of their equipment is on the high-​end side. Don’t think I want to spend $ 5k on an elliptical, but it looked sweet! The store isn’t huge, but it has a good selection of both equipment and related sports gadgets and gizmos. All in all, a great store made even better by the people.
