June our waitress was above and beyond. We came with a party of 20, half kids, and the pizzas came out in under 10 min, and they were out of this world. We’re not from around here, so this was a nice detour and we’re happy. We suggest it to everyone..

Our neighborhood pizzeria! Plenty of dishes to choose from as well as sub sandwiches and wraps. Local brewed beer has been added as well. Tvs available for sports, seating at the bar, tables, or outside seating.

Dropped by really quick before my flight. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was yummy! I would come back here and even order a whole pizza. It’s different from other pizza places that I’m used to.

I have visited several Johnnys locations in the past. I have never used this one though. I work close to here and thought I would give the carry out a try. Please don’t take the 3 star rating as a negative one. They didn’t do anything wrong. They were just kind of average. This is the location that is close to Hartsfield Airport. It is frequented by a lot of the airline and Porsche employees. I think that because of its small size their customer base may have outgrown their location. The physical location is convenient but the parking lot is very small and I had to park across the street and walk over. The inside looks dark and kind of run down but did appear to be fairly clean. I called in my order ahead of time and told them when I would be there to pick it up and they had it ready as soon as I walked in the door. I ordered a pepperoni /meatball Stromboli. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. It was just barely done. If they had taken it out one minute earlier it probably would have had some uncooked area inside. Anyway, could have used an extra minute or two. They did include some marinara sauce and some flimsy ass utensils that were barely strong enough to cut into my Stromboli but at least they were there. I have been shorted them before and left to use my hands. Now that will make ya mad !! I also ordered a piece of cheesecake. It was pretty bland and didn’t impress me at all but again it wasn’t bad either. Just kind of average. So there you have it, some good points: –Food ready when I needed it –Good location –Included utensils And some not so good: –average food –dark outdated environment Check it out for yourself…

This is a solid restaurant. Hasn’t disappointed me yet. I almost always get the turkey sandwich without tomatoes. Perfect after a hard day and I just want to be be not hungry.

I know you would be expecting a review on the pizza(which is great by the way) but hands down this place has the BEST lemon pepper wings I have ever had. They’re baked, not fried, so there is a bit of a wait, but it is absolutely worth it. 24 lemon pepper wings and a large Greek salad, and you’ve got an awesome meal for two!

There’s nothing NY about this place. The pizza is below average, the chicken parm came out of a box and the pasta was way over cooked! Never again!!!

Our family’s favorite pizza! We live close by and order Johnnys once a week and have never been disappointed. This is the original location, but they have made some recent improvements including an outdoor patio, making it a great place to take kids. The staff is always friendly. It’s a must try!

As a non-local who happened upon Johnny’s, I was really impressed with the pizza, salads, and cheese bread. Sure, it’s not new and shiny building, but it’s a pizza place and I was there for the food not the fixtures. This is my 6th visit back to Johnny’s and look forward to it each visit. It’s great that you can get a slice of pizza made to order in a timely matter. I’ll be back !

We tried this place while staying over to catch a flight. Our food was awesome! The pizza is loaded with fresh ingredients. * Food — Excellent! «The Gourmet» and«Johnny’s Deluxe»(half & half) is IT!!! * Service — Very friendly and helpful. Smiles and conversation, no complaints here. Atmosphere — Seemed pleasant, we ordered for takeout. * That something extra — Try the Mini Garlic Knots and add cheese, good stuff! * Did it make my «faves» list — Would definitely return if passing through again!

Poor, poor service from a waiter who was trying out for the Natalie Portman role in the movie anywhere but here. I don’t think he understood the concept of being a waiter. Not one smile but he may just win an Academy Award for being Oscar the Grouch. Pizza looked three days old. The dough tasted like what I imagine dry cardboard tastes like.

I have been to this place several time. They have amazing pizza and other items on the menu. They have a seating arrangement outside as well and i had a lovely dinner few days back sitting outside and enjoying the food. The staff is also very good here. I recommend this place to everyone.

Stopped by this Johnny’s in Hapeville as hunger struck. I was thrilled with the experience. We started off with the garlic balls or knots, whatever. These were very good but positively swimming in butter and olive oil. I know something got clogged in our bodies. Still, very good so my hopes were high for some good food. I ended up ordering the chicken parmesan, which I should not go to a pizza joint for, but it’s what I was in the mood for(plus I know a pizza joint that serves up an excellent chicken parm). I dont’ want to say it sucked, so I’ll just say that canned soup at home was seeming five star after one bite. Frozen, and the breaded chicken was not fried. It had that old stale taste to it that I abhor. The sauce on the noodles straight from a can and complete with that light watered down looking sauce at the bottom. Yucko. I havent’ so not enjoyed a meal in a long time. The service could use some work also. We waited a very long time before anyone approached us. There were only two servers and the place got busy while we were there, so that’s something. Anyway, I hope Johnny’s pizza is better than the chicken parm.

I dunno about Johnny’s. I mean on the one hand, Johnny’s is the closest pizza spot I know of in Hapeville. On the other, it just isn’t a very flavorful pizza, so that’s why i’m hovering between a 2 star or 3 star review. Why can’t there be a 2.5 star? I went with coworkers a little while back and ordered the calzone with mushrooms, spinach, mozarella cheese and canadian bacon. There were 6 of us and I kid you not, our meals didn’t reach us until about 45 minutes in. Terribly slow service, although the parking lot is packed, space being a premium, so maybe it’s just the lunch rush? We got our food finally, and it was simply bland. Nothing popped at me or my tastebuds. The red sauce, when you sprinkled red pepper flakes in it, helped with the flavor a bit as you dipped into it, but when I want to blow some calories on good pizza, I want good pizza. I’ll likely come back to this place at some point just to «make sure» the chef didn’t have an off day, it happens, but for now, i’ve definitely had better.
