In my opinion this HOA(which is listed under 2 addresses on Unilocal but is the same HOA) is a scourge of society and as a matter of fact does not have a stated jurisdictional map filed with the Kitsap county Auditors office in accoradance to their«original» articles of incorporation filed in 1962. They have filed fraudulent restatements after rulings against them in WA state Appellate and Supreme Courts, defying court orders and have subsequently placed liens on properties deemd by these courts to be outside of their jurisdiction. I would avoid any property related to this HOA until the county or state governements have disciplined corrected and or closed down this fraudulent corporation, All titles are clouded in relation to this corporation and the courts say most waterfront property as well as the entire fifth addition outside of Driftwood Key club court submitted jurisdictional boundaries. The club refuses to observe this high court ruling and Kitsap county stands by ignoring the issue. I can’t sell my house without full disclosure of these facts as I am aware of this and it severely cripples my ability to sell my home with a «clear» title. If I had it to do again I would avoid this HOA at all costs unless you have the wherewithal to litigate against and assert your legal rights. As reference see unpublished appellate decisionat this link , see arguments in last third of judgement regarding Smith, Smith is part of 183 properties ruled«outside of DKC jurisdiction» and to have clear title, to this day further actions have been taken by club contrary to this ruling and without owners direct consent or agreement altering titles to land in and around this HOA. Do not confuse the«community» of Driftwood Key club with the HOA of Driftwood key club they are 2 very different things. Read clubs entire December minutes in 2011 and see how they openly admit to «not fully observig the ruling» and their likely criminal choices to fraudulently circumvent this ruling.
