Sky Spa

The staff there is so nice that it pains me to write this review. But unfortunately, I had a horrible pedicure here. The coat was too thick, it bled off my nail into my skin, and somehow most of the paint had chipped by the time I got home. Although I did get a massage and it was pretty good. But the pedicure is a wreck that I’ll have to get fixed elsewhere.

I learned about sky spa when I bought a Buy With Me deal. The deal was for a 60 minute Swedish massage for $ 35. For those who know massages– that’s a great deal since hour massages are often $ 80.
My friend and I both went this morning with a bit hesitation. We wondered if the deal was too good to be true and were a bit cautious when we showed up.
Once inside we were pleasantly surprised! Great environment, decorations, very clean and warm personnel. We were both asked to complete a form then when called into out respective rooms, we went over the form with our masseuse. Well, at least I did. My friend said this didn’t happen in her room. My masseuse was very inquisitive as to what I might like or not like. She asked what I was comfortable with and made me feel very at ease. I was happy already. Once on the table, my masseuse, whose name was Kelly, was very attentive to any knots she came across. I felt she wasn’t just going through the motions of giving a normal massage. Rather she was making sure I was getting the treatment I came for.
The only little things I didn’t love was that I could hear chatter of staff or other clients while I was face down on the table. Not like background noises, full on conversations about Dr. Oz. The other thing was that the AC made the room a bit breezy. I agree the AC needed to be on for the warm and mug morning, but to an uncovered body part it was a bit cooler than I would have liked. My friend was provided with a heated towel or some other warm accommodation, which I’m a bit envious of. At least I know it’s an option from now on!
Overall I would certainly recommend this place for a massage and will also be happy to return there in the future.
