Purple Heart Service Foundation

I don’t understand why Purple Heart continually calls me for donations and then almost NEVER shows up when I schedule a pick up. Not to mention, the one time they did show up, the man was extremely rude and said that I needed to place my items so they were visible from the street! When I have scheduled pick ups, both the person over the phone and the website have asked where the items will be located like «in front of garage» or «outside front door.» So why have that type of information given if it all needs to be «visible from the street?» I’m giving stuff away, seems like a little gratitude would be nice. Not to mention, now that my entire house is NOT visible from the street, what am I expected to do? I’m not leaving donations out on the street for randoms to steal! I may as well just bring my donations to the dump.
At any rate, this is now the THIRD time I have scheduled and confirmed a pick up from Purple Heart only to have no one show up. Literally in the same day, I received a phone call from them asking if I had any donations to make! Get organized people!
From now on, I will stick with Salvation Army. They have yet to let me down and they seem appreciative of my donations.
