4.45 stars! Unfortunately, that rounds down to 4 stars, but its an awesome four stars. I like most that you can bring as much vegetables as you want to your table. I’m a huge veggies guys so I liked that I could get as much bean sprouts as I want without getting the side eye from a waiter/waitress. Phở was really good, broth good, noodles good, seasoning good, everything was awesome. Also, good hangover food. The non 4.5+ stars was attributed to the bahn mi. It was just okay, I wish it was good. But I’m more than willing to try it again, hopefully to a better sandwich! I am totally gonna be back again.

You come in, order at the register. You can choose banh mi or phở. I got a spicy chicken banh mi and a Thai tea bubble tea while my friend got a regular phở. The banh mi was amazing, the bread it came on was delicious. The spicy chicken was spicy enough to where i didn’t need sriracha. The phở was okay. The broth wasn’t my favorite and the«regular seemed pretty small, but that was okay since my friend wasn’t that hungry anyways. There’s also a «bar» area where you get the toppings for the phở on a plate yourself as well as your own chopsticks/spoons. The bubble tea was okay. I liked the Thai tea, but the boba was stuck together making it difficult to drink. We cleaned up after ourselves and put our bowls and tray at the area above the trash cans because we weren’t really sure how it worked. I’m still not sure to be honest. Prices are pretty good and will definitely come back for the banh mi.

Love this place as a lunch option in Hanover. Banh Mi, Phở and noodle dishes make for great options. Unfortunately they stopped serving the bubble teas due to lack of demand. They still will add bubbles to the thai iced tea.

Stopped by here after a long flight and craving phở. My friends and I ordered the number 2& I ordered the triple threat phở. I also ordered the summer rolls and Thai iced tea. The phở broth was mediocre and bland. There was no taste to it and also no fish sauce around to help the taste. Portioning was good though. The summer rolls were mediocre as well. The only good thing I would say was the Thai iced tea. It was perfect balance of milk and tea.

Imagine this place as the Chipotle of Phở! I really really loved this place on a cold night. Lots of great options of Phở plus a few other items(we had the shrimp garden rolls). The broth is delicious and the meat is tender and juicy. The portions are HUGE so make sure you get a small or be prepared to take some home. When you was in the place is peppy, and cute. You order your Phở and someone will bring it to you with the provided number(you know how it goes). I really love having this place nearby. It was so good and I definitely will be back.

Being from CA, we were happy to find this place! The sandwiches are great and FINALLY service that is awesome. The staff are always helpful, courteous and friendly — a rarity in the Hanover area. They have good prices as well — so its cheap to pick up a sandwich. You can also do the great combo and get enough Phở for 2 meals plus ½ a sandwich! We definitely love this place and the great emails that we get every month! **You can sign up for their club and you get a postcard for a free meal in the mail!

The banh mis… ahh-mazing. My fave is the pork. Can’t go wrong with that. The phở on the other hand, is just okay. It’s not bad or anything, but I’ve had a lot of phở, and the broth just misses the mark a little.(docked a star for that) Love the toppings bar! It’s nice that these items don’t go to waste. Too many times I’ve gotten phở and seen plates of deserted bean sprouts, basil, and jalapeño. Now you can take what you want. And leave the rest for me. Bwahaha. Love the location too, just a quaint little place with beautiful green paint. I hate to say it, but very zen. XD Will be back for many a sandwiches!

Phubs is the best Phở place in the area. Not only can you get great Phở, but also amazing bahn mi. Service and atmosphere is great. Highly recommend.

Our go to phở spot in the area. It’s not like your typical mom and pop spot. Just a modern-traditional take on Vietnamese food. Management is always nice especially when we call in for a pick up order near closing time. Service is always friendly and food is consistently good. Great place to go when you’re craving phở in the area.

Oh my god! I’m so glad I found this place! Now I don’t have to travel to Baltimore to have a bowl of vegan phở. The broth is light and refreshing and it has flavor! I’ve had vegan phở from a couple of places and it was always disappointing but this place is different! They have tons of veggies and its fresh and so good! I’ve also ordered veggie bahn mi but it’s mediocre but vegan phở is good! I will definitely return!

Stopped for lunch one afternoon. I was concerned because I didn’t know how a teenager would like phở if they listed all of the possible proteins I’ve seen before. She went reserved with a sandwich, I had phở. Very good.

Fast and tasty! The Phở and Bahn Mi is on point. We need more modernized takes like Phubs on Phở and Bahn Mi. The fix’n bars is always stocked and more efficient than the usual Vietnamese Phở restaurant. I love coming here for lunch for a quick bite of something different than the usual American or Mexican cuisine in the surrounding area. The menu’s very simple and that’s a good thing. The seating area is fairly large with multiple tables in the outside patio.

SCREEEEEEEECH!!! …went my brakes as I drove past this mall and saw a possible PHO place. «Ph» on the sign. …where’s the«O»? «Ahhh, it says Vietnamese under the sign. Helloooooo lunch!» Phubs has adopted the counter ordering method of several«express» Phở restaurants that have started to pop up. BUT, they have a PHeature I have not seen elsewhere. PHO PHixin’s Bar! Right? Can you hear what I’m saying!!! All you people that don’t like cilantro, want extra limes, or skip the Jalapenos… you are taken care of! You order at the counter and then setup your own plate of condiments however your little beef noodle soup loving heart desires. They also have outdoor seating and beer. So, it was a pretty cool place. There is a full Viet menu of banh mi, rice dishes and noodle dishes. They also have combo meals and specials. Service was fast and friendly. They seem to do a healthy take-out business, take credit cards, and have a moderate amount of seats inside. It’s a small place, but the outside seating definitely helps. Prices were on par with other Phở places. Broth was very good. Meat and noodle quality seemed a little slimmer than some places, but not highway robbery. I’ll definitely go back when I’m in the area and would recommend it.

This is my 3rd time here. The phở is blah. I DO, however, love the sandwiches. but if you’re going to be a phở place, please improve your actual phở. The soup has barely any noodles, mostly onions and cilantro. The chicken is weird. it’s sliced breast but it just doesn’t taste right to me. the broth needs fixing… needs more flavor. I do like the sesame sandwhich and the lemon chicken! It’s very good, yummy vegetables and good sauce they use! They have good deals too. I’ll still continue to come here, only for the sandwiches though. If they improved the phở, I’d give it a 5 star, but since I loooove their sandwiches, it’s still a great place to eat!

The Phở is ok. The spicy chicken was just spicy and not a lot of flavor. Strange atmosphere, seems like a bunch of guys/friends just hanging out that also serve food.

So happy phubs opened near us! I’ve had phở all around the DMV area & this is by far my favorite. Good portions, bubble tea and thai teas are good and they are accommodating when it comes to tweaking orders. Always get it right. Environment, atmosphere and staff are always friendly. The only thing I wish was that they had a shrimp/seafood phở!

I went here for the bubble tea. If you’re looking for authentic milk tea bubble tea, don’t expect to get it here. All they had when I came(430p Monday) was the Taro and Thai options. I opted for the Taro and it was in slushy form– not what I wanted or expected. The bubbles were too mushy. The phở was good and the customer service was good as well.

Having just moved to Maryland from Hawaii(don’t ask), I was extremely skeptical of the multiple Phở establishments pervading the surrounding strip malls.(Since when did Maryland have Phở, anyway?) Needless to say, the recent cold spell challenged my skepticism and left me craving for home-style comfort: a steaming bowl of phở. After a bit of research, online reviews led me to try out Phubs. It was easy to find, which was a godsend for a newbie like me. Their large green sign is easy to spot, even at night, and there was plenty of parking. Since the restaurant was open until 9PM on a weeknight, not even jet lag could keep me from my gustatory goal. The menu has most of the staples I would expect to find at home– varying degrees of beef phở, chicken phở(?), veggie phở, thai tea, and sandwiches. I was feeling a little healthy and opted for the vegetable phở, which was chock full of spinach, onions, tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms and tofu. It was perfect with a bunch of bean sprouts, jalapenos and sauces thrown in. Much to my surprise, it was a lot like the phở I missed from home. The flavour was excellent. It was a decent price, too, about $ 8 – 9 for such a filling meal! I had to cancel out my healthy meal with a dessert of course, so took advantage of their 50% off coupon. Check in on Unilocal, and you get half off of any size boba tea. Their boba was honestly a little soft and squishy, not quite the perfect consistency, and I don’t think they put enough boba in the drinks. They also offer boba slushies with whipped cream on them, which is kind of weird, but okay, whatever works! Never the less, the tea itself was good, and that’s what counts. Needless to say, my husband and I signed up for a frequent customer card on the spot, haha. I imagine there aren’t many places around here that taste straight out of Hawaii like that.

Been 2 doors down a few times to Little Spice(4 times) and had to give these guys a try. Very pleasant folks and a great meal! Like 10 bucks for a huge phở bowl and ½ a sub. But tasted alot more expensive. Counter service and bussed tables so even that part is economical. Nice job, I will be back.
