On the way down to the cape decided to have dinner at this outback and as you can probably guess from the 2 stars we weren’t impressed by this location — here are my reasons for the 2 stars — to start with you couldn’t buy a smile from the staff — the girl and the guy at the host station were not happy and neither were the floor employees — no one was pleasant and we did not feel any warmth and welcoming atmosphere — next the food came out cold and we had to send it back to be microwaved so the butter would melt on the potatoes — the actual size of the portions are nowhere near the pictures on the menu — and finally they charge top dollar similar to a five star steak house in downtown Boston which they’re not — reading the other reviewers looks like we were not the only ones disappointed with this place — sorry to say we won’t be back

Stopped in for lunch. After being greeted by a beautiful bartender I think she said her name Was Lisa. We ordered drinks and food. Food was delicious. Service was top notch. Couldn’t complain about the drinks either. Very good experience

Not sure why this place doesn’t have more stars. Food is always out very quickly and it’s delicious. My favorite is the bloomin burger with grass fed beef and the mixed drinks are always a go-to. The service has always been outstanding. ask for Autumn she is a very caring waitress and not only that, she makes you leave with a smile. Definitely coming back!

Haven’t been to Outback in a while — probably 2 years now. Don’t need to come back for another 2. Food disappointing. Drinks contained no booze. Just another overpriced chain. Service was good hence my 3 stars.

I hate writing this because Outback is in my top 5 restaurants, but tonight was bad news. I arrived at 6:50 and was looking forward to this meal all day as it was my birthday. I was told they were all out of prime rib… I actually contemplated leaving then but since a drink was already ordered I stayed. Settled on a rib eye with Marsala sauce, backed tater and a salad. The young lady that was tending the bar was also taking care of me so needless to say the service was slow. After another drink my meal arrived… No salad… No Marsala sauce… the steak was just ok… Happy Birthday to me!!!

We are back after three years, to give this place a second try. They failed again. Appetizers were served without having any silverware. The table was sticky. . Their signature appetizer, the«Blossom Onion», again burned and soggy. What’ll take for them to stop frying it one minute earlier? The bathroom smells pretty bad. Congratulation to the photographer.

Arrived and was told it would be a 15 minute wait… after waiting for an hour they said it would still be 18 minutes. Manager and hostess staff were extremely rude… after waiting another 30 minutes consistently watching everyone who arrived after us get seated we went back up. At that time they said it would be another 10 minutes. Once finally sat they put us at a table with glass on the seat and ended up getting cut. Told the manager who didn’t even apologize rather said«I’ll have someone bring you a band aide». Absolute worst service! Would not recommend this outback to anyone

My husband and I used to come here every few months when we were dating 10 years ago. A lot changes in a decade. We haven’t been here in probably at least 6 years. We usually go to the other steak house down in Pembroke which is way better but there was almost an hour wait there tonight so we decided to come to outback. We both ordered the Victoria’s filet. Was expecting a thicker cut of steak like filets but it was a thin, tasteless crappy cut of meat. The baked potatoes were ok but not enough butter, about 5 pieces of cheese and 2 bacon bits. We got a small order of cheese fries and there was barely any cheese on them or bacon. Mostly just plain, salty fries. Bill came to $ 60 for two people and that’s w no alcohol tonight. Crazy overpriced food that’s mediocre at best. We definitely don’t plan to come back. The best part of the experience was our waitress Alex who was very friendly and prompt.

ITDIDN’T GETBETTER… The over the top Marketing Department is at it again. The negativity in my last review concerned the description of the Baby Back Ribs, as a «full rack». A full rack is 12 ribs, they were serving 9. That’s been revised to «a full portion». This visit displayed an appetizer of lobster tails… the picture showing what appears to be two lobster tails, and one shell. A little deceptive at best! It is one lobster tail, and one shell. Now my dinner… I ordered the double hamburger(medium) at more than $ 10. The burger came well done and dry. It was two thin patties with a big chunk of lettuce, and a tall roll(for volume). My opinion is that Burger King’s double whopper is at least just as good… and at half the price. I requested mustard twice, and was half way done with the burger before it arrived. Both the Manager and Server were apologetic(they didn’t charge for the appetizer), but that goes just so far. Though they can’t control the Marketing people, this location still needs improvement.

The mash potatoes were microwaved! The salad tasted strange. Not the Outback that I’m used to.

We used to frequent this establishment until we discovered Stockholders. This place would have 3 stars until the lack of commitment. Let’s start, our server Lisa was adequate. She was attentive and aware of our needs. We are only rating due to our use of a gift cart card. We ordered two apps. The famous bloomin onion and mushroom stuffed with crab and seafood stuffing. Bloomin was ok but underdone. The mushrooms were awful, stuffed with supposedly with crab and seafood. None of that was tasted. Mushrooms were warm and stuffing was cold, AWFUL. We, also, upgraded our salads. We opted for the pecan and blue cheese chopped salad upgrade. They both lacked the ingredients mentioned. None were present. SERIOUSLY, just worth mentioning. Our entrees were 2 — 9oz Outback Specials. Wow, one was much bigger than the other. The steaks were totally differently from each other. Seriously a joke. Mine was 6oz and his was 10oz. RIDICULOUS. These came with 1 side, beside the salads. After eating, we couldn’t leave fast enough. THISWASNOTWORTHIT, even with a gift card we received. Worst of all, we have a balance left on the gift card. UGH… If you want a GOOD steak go to STOCKHOLDERS in Weymouth.

Giving this place 1 star is too generous! We(husband, 2 year old daughter & me) went there for lunch today during a shopping outing. There were only a few tables occupied. We ordered an app and 2 meals. The app took 30 minutes to come out and it was like warm at best. After waiting another 30 minutes for our 2 meals(grilled chicken salad and salmon), we finally asked for our meals to go. Our waitress was very unfriendly, unapologetic and had quite the attitude. She confirmed that our meals were to go and brought it out and placed it on our table. I paid then we came home to eat… only to find that our vegetables weren’t in the to go bag! NEVERGOINGBACKAGAIN and would recommend for others to do the same. To top it off, the table and booster seat were filthy! I couldn’t get the«stickiness» off of the booster seat with baby wipes. We also heard her mess up the order of a nice lady and her son sitting behind us.

The Outback is not a steakhouse. It is a chain restaurant with a decent menu and a mediocre kitchen. I didn’t go there for the Bloomin’ Onion, I went for steak(actually for a feature cut of bone-in Ribeye, which for the second time they were out of). They had $ 5 featured cocktails, which weren’t great, but a pretty decent price. The wine list isn’t bad and the provide 6 and 9 oz pourings(which is great when 12oz is too much and 6oz is not enough). But for the second time, the bone-in Ribeye was on the menu but after I ordered it was told they’re out. That’s a drag, because I have found their boneless cuts are pretty tough there, and I suspect(was also once told) that this is due to lack of freshness and improper handling. So I ordered the Porterhouse, medium rare. When it arrived, it was medium WELL. It wasn’t served by our waitress, who unfortunately for circumstances didn’t check-in with us until 10 – 15 min after it was served. By this time I had eaten around the edges as well as all the broccoli, et al. My wife said(to me) «Aren’t you going to say anything?» So I said«Okay, my steak is overcooked.» I cut all the way through and showed it to my waitress who immediately said, «You’re absolutely right, that is welldone and I put it in for medium rare.» After quickly debating the merits of intentionally ordering undercooked(something I shouldn’t have to do with a $ 30 steak) she said would be back with another one in 10 min. What seemed like 20 min later, the manager showed up with a new Porterhouse that honestly was a bit malformed. She said«please cut into it and make sure it is perfect» and it was pretty close to perfect. Their Porthouses are now quoted as 20oz which frankly is a bit small, and I think theirs is smaller than that. Particularly in thickness. They used to be bigger and thicker, but they have definitely shrunk. In this case, regardless of the size, the steak was funky. The first one had potential but was ruined by over cooking. This was visually malformed and just much tougher and gristly by comparison. I smiled and said«It’s is great thanks» but it wasn’t. But now my steak was arriving after my wife and kids had finished(my son got the ribs which were also funky and WAY over cooked, and he only had one, I eat the rest while waiting for the steak). The manager offered to bring the kids something while everyone waited for me, so we ordered a dessert, which then showed up on our bill. WTF?! But in fairness, when I raised the point that it was our expectation this was an offer of compensation, they agreed to take the dessert off the bill. So overall, our dining experience there was pretty funky. As have been most recent visits. It used to be great — even before kids we went there and it felt like an actual steakhouse(perhaps not Morton’s but better than it is now).

Joined my party last night for dinner. Ordered a beer at my table when I arrived with the waitress. 20 minutes later I went to the bar and ordered a beer from the bartender since our waitress forgot. Dinner was fine, except the extra butter and extra blue cheese salad dressing never came. And dessert took another 15 minutes. Not sure if the waitress was daft to management was too blame because there were too many patrons eating and not enough staff to handle a busy Wednesday night. Regardless we left a much bigger tip than I thought she deserved for the horrible service we experienced. Sadly this outback is not what it used to be.

Ewwww. Ewwww bathroom, Ewwww pickles on my daughter’s grilled cheese, ewwww new burnt grilled cheese, double ewwww on the bathroom. Thank you for turning down the AC, but it was still 60 degrees at our table. Please make the dishes resemble the pictures just a bit. I should be able to see the coleslaw without having to eat all the tuna first.

Every now and then I get a craving for a total calorie-sodium bomb that is the bloomin’ onion. It’s bloomin’ for sure, it’s bloomin’ my arteries! Since this is our go-to Outback, we’ve never really had a problem with this particular location. The staff is really friendly and we’ve never had a bad experience with food incorrectly cooked. Since it is a chain-restaurant with standards to abide by, my medium-rare steaks are always perfectly cool and dark pink. I don’t particularly eat a lot of red meat, so we only come here two or three times per year. As compared to other Outbacks in the area, this particular location is never overwhelmingly crazy. Considering that the Hanover Mall is practically on life support, it is very possible to get in the door without a wait on a Friday or Saturday night. My only complaint is that the restaurant feels like it is still stuck in the mid 1990s. The dark interior and shellacked wood interior has to go. Brighten up the place. The food presentation could use a little update as well. Festive plates and work on the garnishing. Oh well. If that’s the only downside, it’s still not a bad deal.

Not the best Outback location. Our meal started out well– we called ahead and were seated promptly when we arrived a little after 8pm on a Friday. Our appetizer was also delivered promptly. The drinks and meals themselves, however left much to be desired. Mixed drinks were poorly made(and slowly delivered), salads over-dressed and meat over-cooked. I would chock it up to the fact that it was a Friday night, but the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Besides, even when busy, I’ve never been disappointed in the meal quality at other Outback locations. All this means that while I love me some Outback, I won’t be returning to this location.

Take out service is TERRIBLE. Have ordered take out numerous times, and every single time, it has been wrong. I always ask for extra sauce with the cheese fries, and not only do they forget to put ANY sauce in the bag(mind you the order of cheese fries comes WITH sauce), but also recieved the fries with out bacon… That too, is supposed to always be on the fries. When we have dined in, there is usually never a problem. The food is always good-when it’s prepared correctly… Which is rare when it comes to ordering it to go.

It was everything I expected from an Outback. The prime rib was awesome and the cheese fries were hot, gooey, and artery clogging.
