A few years ago, I followed my stylist here from another salon. Before that, I had never heard of Complements. It is located downstairs at Merchant’s Row next to the yoga studio. For being on the lower level, they do a good job at brightening up the space. One of the things I like best about Complements is the personal attention; I feel like I know everyone there. Joan, the owner, takes a lot of pride in her business and is usually the first person to greet me. Now, about my stylist! I wouldn’t have followed Corrin here if she were mediocre. I get a bit conservative when it comes to my naturally titian locks, and she has been there for my big«first» moments: bangs for the first time since I was 8 years old, highlights that I was convinced would look streaky but ended up beautiful, the correct way to use a relaxing treatment, and I even trusted her with my wedding hair. Corrin made those bangs sweep, highlights blend, and wedding hair look flawless. I couldn’t be happier with her. I do wish they had a larger selection of hair products, but I recognize that all salons use different products and this is a smaller one so they probably can’t carry as much. Either way, I have switched my daily conditioner to a product they carry after I got a complimentary birthday conditioning treatment(Crema from Terax). It smells divine and makes my hair so soft. Also, Christy is pretty awesome, too. She was the second stylist for my bridal party, and everyone was sooo happy with Corrin and Christy on the updos.
