On 12/13/2011 me and my husband went out to eat and we saw this place and well it said grand opening so we thought what the hell and went in. Right off the bat the place was in great shape. You could tell that they were just setting up but for the most part the place was well put together. Well anyways my husband and I had some Delicious chips and homemade salsa really good. It was one of those homemade salsas where the spicy of the salsa doesn’t kick in until later. So well after we got our Mexican cokes and decided on what to eat my husband and I decided we both would try the burrito dinner with steak. OMG it was really, really good. The only thing my husband said was they didn’t really give you a lot of rice and beans and I said well hon did you see the burrito… it’s not small. :) And honestly people in my opinion they give you just the right amount of everything and it does fill you up and it’s not expensive at all. And also they are going to have a karaōke. So for those people who love great Authentic Mexican Food this place is for you.

Taquerías aplenty on this stretch of Irving. This one is located just west of Barrington on the south side of the street. Located in a strip mall. I can’t speak for the restaurant itself, as I sent the husbo out into the cold to fetch our meal. He’s not a man of many words when it comes to things like décor, ambiance, etc. The husbo did comment on how nice staff was. They gave him a free pop for whatever reason. He didn’t have to wait long for the carry out order. We had been wanting to try their $ 1 pork or chicken tacos, so we got 5 of each. They did mine and the husbo’s auténtico(onions and cilantro) and gringo(lettuce, cheese, tomato) for the tween. We also got an order of chips and salsa. Both meats were good, the seasoning was not overpowering. I was able to give the miniature some chicken without worring what I would deal with on the diaper end. The flour tortillas were fresh and thick. The chips were good but a little greasy. The salsas, picosas! The tomatillo was probably the spiciest. Everything was of good quality and freshness, especially considering the cost. You’re spending $ 1 for a taco! These ingrediants are fresher than anything you’d find on a fast food dollar menu. A $ 13 meal for a family of 3.5 is not a bad deal. We can’t wait to dine-in and try more stuff on the menu… which we will probably do soon, as mi cocina está cerrada most of the time. Check it out, keep the place open!
