It’s time to make the case for Sizzler for lunch. Okay, picture yourself at just about any of the fast food restaurants, ordering a sirloin burger, fries, and a drink. Get the price in your mind. Now, Imagine going to Sizzler and ordering from their lunch menu. A complete lunch, served on a plate, with real silverwear, by a real waitress is what you’ll get, starting at $ 7.99 for their special(currently it’s three chicken fingers, choice of side, and a bottomless soft-drink). Main courses run from $ 8.99 to $ 10.99 for lunch: six jumbo shrimp, malibu chicken, Italian herb chicken, burgundy mushroom sirloin tips, tri-tip steak, and fish and chips. Sides could be a baked potato, french fries, steamed veggies, or grilled veggies. I usually order coffee, and they have the favored creamers. For the calorie conscious, you could order the Italian herb chicken with the grilled veggies and stay at 240 calories for the meal. They also give you their cheese toast appetizer, gratis. Of course, if you want to eat soup, salad, and finger foods, and self serve desert, the all you can eat salad bar goes for $ 10.49 and I think it includes a drink. The tri-tip steak is cooked fo order and is a tender/juicy 6 oz. So, how much more does it cost than Carls Jr, located 75 yards away? Or Arby’s, located 50 yards away? Of course, they also have a dinner menu(steak with a lobster tail runs about $ 19.99). There are two TV sets with sports. Today, it was an NFL game, the Pats versus the Chiefs. On weekdays, usually ESPN or NFL network(it’s football season).

The manager Pauli is an idiot and not a friend to veterans. I brought 16 people in for dinner on Veterans Day; mix of vets and cadets. NO discount at all since I was 16 minutes late for their special. He would not budge on their«Veterans Day policy».

Food quality would be deemed mediocre at of course, affordable prices. However, I do not understand why every time I go here I never fail to see former drug using missing teeth skimpy people. It’s rather disgusting how they congregate here and how a glimpse of their poor life style reminds me how death is imminent and how serious life is!

I hadn’t been to sizzler in awhile, and this sizzler was not what I remembered it to be. My boyfriend and I got the salad bar. The table we got was sticky, so we moved to another one. Our waitress was great and very attentive, that was the one plus of the experience. First go round my boyfriend brought back cold fried okra, and cold onion rings. The salads were on the soggy side, and whatever looked like macaroni salad was flavorless. Their cheesy bread was of course amazing, cause how bad can you mess up cheese and bread. The thing we prolly ate the most, was pizza. I’m not down spending $ 34 on little squares of pizza though. The one thing surprisingly good was the spaghetti and marinara. If we go back again I think I will try one of their main entrees instead of their salad bar.

It’s Sizzler… Safe place to get the kids some grub. Service good, clean, kids happy and actually the steak wasn’t bad at all. But it’s Sizzler, what can I say…

What HORRIBLE service! Brought my dad here for his birthday, manager took order wrong, then had server repeatedly harass us thinking we are trying to steal their food! Turns out it was a misunderstanding and they gave us all that trouble for nothing! The food here was ok but Fresno sizzler has better choices, so don’t bother coming here. It’s only a matter of time before this place shuts down.

Me and my girl went to Sizzler on Valentines Day hoping to have a delicious steak and all you can eat shrimp meal. We were very disappointed to see that they have changed their shrimp from those delicious small lightly breaded shrimp to same small sized shrimp but with an excessive amount of breading plastered all around it. When the waitress brought it we thought they were gonna be a big sized prawn only to bite into nothing but breading. And the breading was not fully cooked, it was still gooey inside. Then on the next bite you get a piece of shrimp. I asked the waitress if that was how it was supposed to be and she said she would talk to the cook and have him cook them a little longer. She came back and said the cook tried one and said the same thing and later brought some more out that were cooked longer and they were crispier on the outside but still too moist on the inside. It looks like they wanna just fill you up with breading so they don’t have to give you very many shrimp. Too many businesses want to keep skimping on quality and taking shortcuts to get your hard earned money. And Sizzler is definitely one of those. What a disappointment. I will never waste my hard earned money there again. I will make my own steak and shrimp and never look back. Sizzler, you messed up a good thing.

Best Sizzler in the entire country. Great service. Amazing quality and variety of food. It’s been that way for years. It’s the only Sizzler I have ever enjoyed and go back to. This Sizzler should be teaching Sizzler 101 to other Sizzlers. Keep it up!

I love this specific Sizzlers in Hanford due to their great customer service. The owner Ron is quite friendly and will sit down with you and talk to see if there is anything he could do better to enhance the eating experience. They’re constantly upgrading the restaurant so that the customers have an amazing atmosphere.

I feel bad writing this because I grew up on this sizzler but it is just the same old stuff and the price for a salad bar now is just not worth what you get. All my kids are«adults» now so the price is just outrageous.

I agree with another reviewer here, this is one of the better sizzlers out there. We have never had bad service and food is always good. Not to be confused with«european» food. Just nice salad bar with plenty of basic hot food. Ordered food is good as well. We always enjoy our steaks here. Plus free texas toast and baked potato with meals is pretty good for average people on a budget.

By far the very best Sizzler out there. Moved away and miss it so much. Have to go there every time I am in town. Love it that much.

Sizzler always makes a really good steak! My husband loves the Texas toast, baked potato, and buffet. Ok ok, so do I lol ;-) And while the price isn’t super cheap, we are always treated like«our wish is the their command» by the wait staff.

I didn’t come here expecting much and I wasn’t surprised. I had the buffet and honestly could have spent $ 14 in Savemart’s frozen food section and had a better meal. It’s basically a decent sized salad bar with 4 – 5 barely warmed over entrees on the side. Absolutely not worth the price. However their staff was quite nice and friendly.

My husband and I love this place. I remember eating here as a kid, Pizza, Mac and cheese which hasn’t changed since I was a kid. We came from Florida and I almost forgot about this place! We had the salad bar we both love salads, it was great. We also had endless shrimp which was tasty. My husband had ribs and he said they were great. We didn’t go on a busy night not many people were in there. The buffet was clean and the employees kept it clean. Dinning area was really clean also. It was a nice restaurant, a great evening.

$ 51.50 it is ok been going to Sizzlers all my life and this one was ok. I had been here before and for a family of 4 with a grandmother in tow it is ok. The adults got the endless salad bar, my son a cheese burger and my daughter she mooched off me and my wife’s plates. She is one she can do that. Anyway the food was ok my major problem is eating the real thing in Europe then trying to eat what is suposed to be something and well it doesn’t compair. Example would be the spaghetti and meat balls. Speghetti noodles were over cooked and very mushy the meat balls tasted like they been dipped in maple syrup and mixed with really bad tomato sauce. The kids chicken nuggets were soggie and the blue cheese tasted rather bland. My wife said the same thing it was ok it was food in the tummy but wasn’t any thing amazing.

The only reason I’ve given Sizzler a two-instead-of-one star review is because of the nostalgia factor. When I was a kid, I used to LOVE coming here. Round Table pizza on the buffet, great cheese toast, ice cream, and pretty much anything you could want. Of course there were SOME undesirable items on the line that you would avoid based on looks alone [I’m talking about you, baby poop tacos]…But generally everything was good. Even into my teen years I enjoyed the buffet, although I mostly stuck to the kids area for the pizza and grilled cheese. But after visiting the valley last november after living out of state for the past few years, I was not only disappointed by what happened to the place, but disgusted with the quality of food. And the worst part? It was MY bright idea to come here with our large group of friends because I couldn’t think of anywhere else that could easily seat us. Plus, you know… The nostalgia. First bummer of the night? No more round table pizza. Apparently while I was gone they shut down/got bought out by some horrible place that makes pizza of lower quality than Little Caesars. Yikes. Second bummer? No grilled cheese, everything looked congealed and greasy, and our table was entirely sticky. Seriously, the whole thing felt like a giant wad of chewed gum. The only redeeming quality was our creepy waitress that was doing everything but molesting my friend. While some of us had to wait for quite a while for a refill, his cup never even got halfway empty. So, yeah. Sizzler is pretty bad now, and definitely way too pricey for the quality of food being offered.
