When it was time to look for daycare, I didn’t know where to even begin. While I was doing an online search, I found only one daycare in Hanford that had a website. Room to Bloom looked attractive, not only did they have a website but they also had a Facebook page. I quickly found that a friend on FB took her child there. I contacted the friend and she gave 10+ stars to her childs«preschool», Room to Bloom. I set up an interview and grilled Maritza and her husband for 45 minutes. They passed my questioning but more importantly my daughter played the entire time and didn’t want to leave, that spoke volumes to me. It was a bonus that the home was clean, safe, and totally child friendly(no T.V.) This winter it will be 2 years since our first visit and our child still loves going to «school». She loves playing with her friends, learning to count, read, and all the arts and crafts. If you are looking for a place for your child that you can trust to be safe, honest, and a great learning environment you have found it!

After spending a lot of time trying to find high quality childcare that was willing to work with me for a part-time registration, I confidently selected Room to Bloom. Each day when we picked up our son we checked to make sure things were going well and were told they were going great. At the end of the first week I contacted Maritza to make sure things were going well and learn if there’s anything I needed to address to ensure a smooth transition. I received a response back a week later telling me the 2-week trial period was over(of which one week she was on vacation) and she decided she was moving in a different business direction and would no longer be able to offer us care. As any parent knows, looking for good childcare is a very time consuming thing. After confirming several times that our arrangement was working, I was extremely disappointed to receive such information via email. While her program appears first class, I question her business etiquette and would never recommend her. I’d never want to put another parent through the hoops I just went through only to end up starting all over again. Respectfully submitted, A working mother and military spouse.
