First time here with my daughter(who is a phở addict) and we were fairly pleased. The service was prompt, friendly and attentive so they get really high marks for making sure you have everything you need. The phở came out super fast and looked great. The KC special bowl(#2) contained a variety of meats with good textures and flavors. The meatballs, however, seemed to be tossed in at the very last moment so they were not left to heat up adequately. In fact, the entire bowl cooled off too quickly. My guess is that the hot phở is being ladled into cold bowls. I would definitely come again and try the other items on the menu.

The phở here is good and the people are helpful. I only gave this place 4 stars because they don’t have quite as flavorful broth as I like. But I go back frequently to this place. I recommend this place a lot to my coworkers!

If you enjoy spicy & exotic food you must try the Beef or Chicken Phở at KC Noodle. It’s a hot soup with noodles, your choice of meats, vegetables, and some side sauces to customize how hot & spicy your Phở is. First time? I recommend starting with a small #10(Beef Phở without Tripe) & Shrimp Rolls. You’ll know what they’re working with for less than $ 14 for BOTH types of entrees. This is a quiet place, never too crazy & busy, and I almost want to keep it a secret. Great times at KC Noodle. *Warning: Spicier than Chinese or Japanese Food*

Update. went back for phở with a side of beef here’s what I got. bean sprouts were brown, no mint leaves, and the soup was warm. So warm that the beef stayed red once placed in the soup. The soup was bland. Worst I’ve tasted in a while. The skinny cook, who was very loud, comes out and asks me exactly what I wanted, as if what I wanted was something special. He goes back there and while cooking was ranting and raving about my wanting a hot phở. Going back to Fresno.

Excellent service, variety of yummy dishes with generous portions, great prices. Try the steak salad if soup isn’t your favorite.

Waitresses are friendly, food was brought to us fast and was very delicious we all got the chicken noodle soup and the chicken w shrimp soup, some rice and chicken, spring rolls and egg rolls and they were all super yummy. I would recommend this to anyone thats looking for some good vietanamese food!

First of all, I miss the sushi place that was here before. That being said, this was my first time having Vietnamese food. I’ve had Tai and loved it so I figured I’d try it. The flavors were good. I just didn’t enjoy how it was presented. This is just my weird personal opinion. Everything was all together in a giant bowl. We ordered a small and it was plenty enough to share. We ate outside and the chairs were dirty. Sooooo, I guess I’ll try it again but I’d rather have sushi or go get some pad tai.

It was the first time I tried Vietnamese food and I like a lot the vegetarian soup but definitely I love the sauce that comes with the rolls, I recommend this place.

Love the rare steak phở here! I never was a huge fan of Phở until a friend took me here and now I love it.

I love the food, and I’m glad they have a phở restaurant in Hanford but my goodness our server when we first got there was so unpleasant. If you are miserable in your job, please find a new one especially when you work in food service or customer service. The food however was really good. Their smoothies are delicious and the phở was spot on. The service from one of their employees sucked, but everyone else was so friendly. We may give this spot another chance to see if maybe that one server was just having a crappy day.

Very clean, comfortable spot and welcoming staff. But the food was nothing to rave about. Beef Phở on the bland side and«Sorry, no basil today…»??? Boooo… Steamed Shrimp Spring Rolls were fine but again, kinda blah. No cilantro. No basil. No mint. The Peanut Sauce was great though… meh… My 5 yr old liked her Phở just fine so we’ll give it 3 Stars. Gonna grab a Boba on our way out. Crossing my fingers… Nevermind that cause…“Our Boba isn’t ready for another 30 minutes, sorry about that.” Ugh…2 Stars. Handord, second time in a row you let me down.

Don’t order the large phở… even the small is huge! Not many vegetarian options but the veg phở was amazing.

Very disappointed with their egg noodle soup as it was served with the beef phở broth instead of traditional broth. If you can’t make it authentic don’t mix soup base and mess up the dish Just don’t serve it all on your menu Shameful

I’ve eaten here at least 3 times every month since their opening and never had a bad experience. The food is inexpensive, but filling and plentiful. Most times I need a to-go container for the large servings of phở. For the soups, they offer a side plate of bean sprouts, jalapeños, and other greens to add more flavor and texture. Useful for me, as I can alter the spiciness depending on my mood. They also offer rice and vermicelli dishes. The charbroiled pork and rice is one of my favorites. More importantly, the service has always been top notch for me. The servers are attentive and helpful, making one feel welcomed in the restaurant. The food is delicious, but the main reason I keep returning is because of the friendly staff. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a family dinner, I know I can count on Phở KC Noodle & Rice for a pleasant meal.

It’s about damn time Hanford had something other than«Chinese» food for Asian fare! This place is really nice inside the staff is attentive and the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the KC special phở and was very pleased with the quality of my meal Good job KC! Hanford needs to realize there’s more to Asian food than Panda Express!

Tried Phở KC Noodle & Rice tonight and really enjoyed it. I got my standard Vietnamese go-to dish, Rice Vermicelli with Chicken & Shrimp. It was a lot of good food for under $ 8. We got the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and they were solid, not the best I’ve had, but a-ok. Loved the peanut sauce that came with the appetizer. Everything had good flavor and was well cooked. Service was real attentive. I’ll definitely give it another shot! Live in the Hanford/Lemoore area? Check out the local review group on Facebook:

Really disappointed, in this place. I had been wanting to try it since it opened. I love trying new food places, and especially love when there is a new food choice in town. I had read some of the reviews that were bad, but still wanted to try it. My boyfriend and I both ordered a #10 steak with flank steak.
It comes out looking and smelling great, I did admit that the broth was a little salty, but I didn’t mind. The meat tasted good too, until my boyfriend starts pulling piece after piece of fat out of his bowl. His bowl was predominantly fat. When we tell the waitress, she asks what did you get again. Told her the #10 and her response is, oh flank steak is mostly fat. That was the only thing she said, not sorry, not let me charge you a small bowl since yours was mostly fat. Then walks away. I will never eat here again.

The service is better this time around. The food is still the same. The phở broth can be better too much MSG. We ordered #29 and #35 the food was tasty. Will be back again soon.

After trying good Phở in San Diego I can honestly say this place is a welcome change in the food scene in Hanford. The Phở was good. A little salty for my liking, but still tasty. I had the meatball and raw steak Phở. I will pass on the meatballs next time as they were a little chew and lacked flavor. The raw steak was lean and perfectly cooked in the broth. The toppings were sufficient and fresh as well. Had the pork sausage rolls for appetizer. It was good, but there was something long and crunchy inside which I never did find out what it was and made the roll a little too chewy. My 3 star rating goes to the strange way the tables are numbered and used to pay up front at the cashier. You don’t get a traditional bill for your meal so you don’t know how much to pay until you go up front to the cashier and tell her your table number. Also I asked for a water along with my Thai tea which I finished right away but was never offered a refill. This place is worth a try if you like Phở or if you’ve never had it and want to try it. I’m sure with time they’ll fix the strange table numbering/pay system they use and offer their customers refills on water.
