Great quality products. I purchased a pound each of the dry roasted almonds and black mission figs at their farmers market stand in echo park. The nuts were perfectly toasted and flavorful. I could tell the figs were super fresh and they are ADDICTIVE! Buy more than one bag, I will certainly be back next week to repurchase.

I love this place! They have a large selection of nuts, flavored nuts, nut butters, and dried fruit. They are so kind and let you sample everything before your purchase. You can try calling first before going because they’ve been busy preparing for the markets especially during spring/summer, they may be in and out of the office. My favorites that I sampled and end up purchasing were the Honey Almond Butter, Pecan Butter, and calimyrna figs! Omg the figs, so delicious. I can’t wait to use them in salads and other recipes. Talk to the owners! They are incredibly sweet :)

Bought a bag of dried peaches and a bag of the chile lemon pistachios today from their stand at the kaiser farmers market. Both were delicious and reasonably priced! Also, the man at the stand was friendly and helpful. I’ll be back for more soon!

You could say that Avila & Sons are nutty guys! Literally! I like to grab a bag of their honey roasted walnuts or some of their homemade almond butter from time to time while running my errands at the Hollywood Farmers’ Market. These guys are too legit to quit– offering some of the tastiest(and healthiest) or snacks. Dried fruit galore at cheaper than Whole Foods prices. I can’t go more then three weeks without buying a ½ lb bag of their amazing dried Black Mission figs. A STAPLE in my household for snacking, cooking, and re-hydrating to make amazing chicken stuffed with figs and creamy Chevre. At only $ 3.50 a bag, you can’t go wrong here. This size typically lasts me anywhere between 2 weeks to a month. I just make sure to put them in air-tight jars for optimal freshness. They’ve also got these awesome dried apple rings(with or without sulfates). A great stand to grab provisions for long road trips, in-desk snacks while on a diet, and even to pack in your children’s’ lunches.
