A fairly beautiful, well-paved trail. My wife and I rode 8 miles east of Hancock, MD. It’s fairly flat, and so not for the avid mountain biker looking for any action. I ride a Specialized MTB and my wife has a Hybrid Trek. Good way to get some exercise. The trail has trees on both sides, therefor a lot of shade and cool temp’s. We rode around 11am 80 °F(in May). There’s a lot of parking space if you choose to park in town. There’s a nice little bike shop there and a couple cafes. 2 things that made me rate this trail lower: — trail is narrow(I’m comparing to Schuylkill river trail in PA) — traffic noise! This trail runs parallel to the I-70 highway so be prepared for a not-so-quiet ride…
