Stayed here recently during a 2 day stay exploring Acadia National Park. We specifically sought a more remote place away from the Bar Harbor congestion. Location was perfect. Great value for the price. Beautiful view from our room and the patio where we took our nicely prepared breakfast each morning. The room was very nicely decorated and extremely clean. Karen was extremely helpful in guiding us to the best sites around the Park. She is also highly committed to conservation and locally produced food(including eggs from her own chickens). We would definitely stay here again when in this area.

I stayed here with my then fiancé, right after we got engaged. It was a great place for a romantic, relaxing long weekend. The location is beautiful. We had breakfast looking at the pond every morning and our hosts gave excellent advice about how to navigate the park and select restaurants. We hope to stay here again when we make it back to Maine.

Adorable, attentive, and friendly. The price is worth every penny, this place is so cute. We saw deer on our way in, grazing by the driveway. Breakfast was lovely, and the bed sheets were the softest I’ve ever slept on away from home. This place feels like staying with family, in all the best of ways.

The two of us stayed for three nights and had a terrific time. They have just two smallish rooms, one above the other, and while they’re not sound-proofed we nevertheless didn’t have any problems. We chose the upper level room, which has terrific views of the water. Karen is a great hostess: breakfast was served outdoors on the deck at precisely the time we had agreed the night before; all delicious, everything from blueberry muffins to broccoli quiche to pancakes and french toast; great coffee, too. Karen is very pleasant and appropriately — and respectfully — chatty. By the way, our room was immaculate — not a speck of dust, and clean towels. Yes, the bed was squeaky but we’ve had worse. This is a definite must stay!

Stayed at this lovely B&B for two nights. The owners are very nice. The breakfasts were awesome, served on the deck overlooking the ocean. The fruits and veggies were freshly picked right there on the farm. The room was clean. The only downside were the beds, old and squeaky. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

A truly remarkable place to stay!!! The rooms are clean and neat. The house is right on the lake which has amazing views. The house is eco-friendly which I admire a lot. The breakfast was so good and straight out of the garden! I have a yeast allergy and she made yeast free bread for french toast! Karen is super nice and Ms. Magoo(their pug) is really cute and friendly! I highly recommend this place and they allow dogs. They have WiFi but remember to ask them to put it on. Thank you Karen for your hospitality! We will be coming back!
