What an amazing place on this earth before I went there I never thought I could snorkel and free dive in a more beautiful place the water was so clear and warm I could not get out of the water I spent 10 hours that day just swimming around in spearfishing for my dinner

The last beach on the north side of the island. The beach is not particularly deep but is quite wide and goes on for a bit. The facilities are okay. Parking is a bit tight. There are far better places to go to the beach along the way on the north shore — more private, and secluded, but this is the place to come if you’re adventurous enough to do the Nepali coast hike. This is a treacherous 11 mile hike that starts at this beach and then gets steep very quickly. There is also an intermediate 2 mile(4 hour hike) which is more doable. Didn’t get a chance to try the hike on this trip but that’s what return trips are for :). There are also some caves near the beach that are interesting. But really if you don’t plan on hike save yourself some time and driving headache and stop at the Princeville(or at most the Haena area).

The entire north side of the island had really rough waves when we visited but Ke’e stayed relatively calm and swimmable. Some of the best snorkeling here– so many colorful fish I hadn’t seen elsewhere! It is a small beach so it can get crowded. There’s plenty of shaded sandy area if you get tired of sunbathing. Beautiful views of the mountains to your left… so serene. Parking can get tough because there are popular hiking trailheads right at the parking lot so get there early. If you have to park on the street, remember to make sure your car is entirely on the dirt or you will get ticketed!

The last beach on the North side. The parking here is very limited since this is also where the trail starts for one of the most popular hikes. The beach is nice and perfect for snorkeling. The Napali coast forms a nice shallow lagoon for soaking and chasing fish. This is one of our favorite beaches that we just go again and again. It’s quiet with not too many people. The sand is nice and you are surrounded by a bunch of trees, just in case it gets too hot.

Couldn’t check in since I didn’t have service, but I LOVE this beach. It’s one of our favorites that we venture to every once in a while. But you are competing with visitors for parking. Its at the end of the road all the way North. If you plan in doing the Hanakapiai Trail or the Kalalau Trail, go early and don’t keep valuables in the car. Just a warning. We’ve seen rental cars with windows smashed in if left over night. Once the lifeguards go home, your car is on its own. If you are just going to beach, still go early. Parking is so bad. The beach is so nice to float when its not rough or choppy. Lifeguards will post signs if the water is dangerous. LISTENTOTHESIGNSANDLIFRGUARDS! Just because it looks ok doesn’t mean it is. There can be rip currents and high tides.

Ke’e Beach is located in the North Shore of the island. It’s the last beach at the end of the road and it’s worth driving to. This beach is the cleanest, stunning and very peaceful. The warm golden sand between your manicured toes feels amazing under the glaring sun. It’s perfect for snorkeling in the beautiful crystal clear blue ocean. The water is so clear that you don’t have to go out too far to see fishes. Lifeguard on duty Parking can be a challenge because it’s close to the entrance to Kalalau Trail.

Ke’e Beach is truly at the end of the road. Keep driving on hwy 560 til there is no road, after all the twist and turns and one lane bridges you will finally arrive. At one point, I felt like I was visiting King Kong with the vast mountain and heavy vegetation. When we arrived, I wasn’t sure if we came to the right place. All we saw was a bunch of young fit people who were in shape to do a triathlon. It turns out, this is a popular spot to do a hike up the mountain. I highly recommend coming early as possible, there is a small dirt parking lot with lots of bumps, leave the Porche at home people, you will get stuck in this lot. Parking on the side of the road is also limited. The water here is calm and plenty of shade to be found. Besides the drive getting here, I found it to be a relaxing beach. There is a restroom and water area to wash off. There is no food vendor, so bring plenty snack and drinks. Getting here was a long jouney, the roads are narrow and parking can be difficult. Plan according and you’ll have a good time here.
