This is a great place to go if you feel like being ripped off and don’t mind being offended by the staff. The cashier had time to look through an artist’s website on the cellphone of the patron in front of us, commenting on his art for five minutes as we waited patiently. Somehow how patience was awarded by her rushing our family through check out, possibly because she wrongly we ran us up for twice as many mac & cheese boxes as we intended to buy. I questioned her on the amount and she shrugged about correcting it. Not to mention this place has a weird elitist attitude, I’d skip it!!! Do yourself and your pocketbook a favor cop across the street to the market they have plenty of organic vegan vegetarian food over there for one quarter of the cost

We were so disappointed that the coffee roasters closed and we couldn’t get waffles, BUT the great help and tips from the very kind and friendly blonde woman doing inventory at the Harvest Market made our day! And she helped us with getting some good honey!

Love, love, love this place! We’ve visited every day on our vacay! I always miss my daily green smoothie when I travel, and was very happy to find a super good one here! And their scones are delish! Great spot to stop for breakfast and pick up your lunch before heading to the beach or hiking Na Pali coast.

Great staff, great breakfast and the most amazing mango muffin I have ever had in my entire life… Nay the best muffin I have ever had! They were perfectly moist in the center and crunchy on the outside my new favorite spot to eat in Kauai!

Nice place with good selection. Great staff and the Kale Smoothie was fantastic. Prices a little on the high side but that is to be expected. The clientele was mixed with some locals and some curious tourists. Would have liked to see more paleo and gluten-free options but I don’t hold that against them.

Great little market in a cute area. This is a great place for vegans, as Harvest Market carries many vegan items, including things like vegenaise, dairy-free cheese, vegan chocolates, etc. They also had a nice selection of fruits and vegetables.

After spending about $ 300 in a few days, we bought a sunscreen for $ 20. It didn’t work and we got a sunburn. We politely requested a refund but the store manager was incredibly rude to us, making disparaging comments saying it was out fault(apparently, a healthcare professional is not qualified enough to know how to use sunscreen) and even following us out of the store to continue arguing.

Love this little organic, health food market. Picked up our favorite Badger sunscreen and some forgotten, chemical free toiletries and grabbed some snacks before our 8 mile hike to Hanakapi’ia Falls. Coming from the health-conscious West Marin, CA it was like a mini Good Earth Natural Foods(our favorite local market).

We stopped by this little gem on our way to Hanalei Bay beach and LOVED it! I tried their kale smoothie and let me just say it was the best kale smoothie I had ever had. And i come to LA, the land of health freaks and juiceries. Their cooked foods are deliciously healthy. I wish I had a store like this in my area. LOVELOVELOVE! Def will come back whenever I make my way back to Kauai.

I love Harvest Market. Yeah, I said it. Everyone here is always cool and there is great hot food, cold treats, snacks, delicious fresh fruit and veggies. I just my first Vegan shepherds pie in the pouring rain and it was phenomenal. Be nice to these girls(& guys) they provide an amazing, healthy, and important service. Now stop reading and go eat!

First, the café is wonderful, 5⁄5. Delicious fruit, veggie, and protein smoothies we got almost daily on our trip(faves were Hawaiian Sunrise and Coconut Chai Yum), salad bar that rivals Whole Foods, and good premade sandwich selections. Second, the store was 3÷5− good veg options and bulk section but fairly limited and expensive selection.

We stocked up on some of my favorite gluten-free brands such as Udi’s bread, Applegate meats, and So Delicious coconut milk. Sadly, they didn’t have much local fruit. We found some pineapple and papaya across the street at Big Save.

Finding quick and easy places to grab good vegan food can be difficult, so when I found this place during my travels, I hit the jackpot! They have a variety of premade refrigerated dishes as well as hot food and smoothies, as well as a salad bar. This place saved me! So healthy and delicious. I could also find all of the groceries and vegan brands I can usually only find at certain stores. I definitely recommend this place to anyone vegan or anyone looking for quick, healthy food.

If you’re into cooking on your trip to Kauai, you will probably make a pit stop here at some point. It’s Kauai’s closest thing to a Whole Foods. If Foodland doesn’t have it, Harvest will. You’ll pay an arm and a leg for it, though. I wanted to make some Indian food and authentic Mexican for my friends while we were visiting, and Harvest was the only place I could find that had some of the spices I was looking for. Prices were INSANE, though. One spice was like $ 15, and on the mainland it’s like $ 4. Salad bar looked tasty and I tried my friend’s smoothie and liked it quite a bit.

Ooh baby I like it raw. Yah baby I like it raw! And organic, usually. And on a recent turkey-day outing to Hanalei, Harvest Market delivered me up a fresh, healthy, organic meal alongside some tasty groceries and Kombucha, and it really did shimmy shimmy my ya. This little market has a pretty damn decent selection of groceries as well as a very small hot bar and a made-to-order smoothie bar. There’s also a salad case as well as a cooler full f prepared foods like bean salads, roasted beets, nut spreads/dips, and all sortsof healthy shit. So if you’re trying to balance out the steady mortar fire of plate lunches on your lower GI, this can be just your ticket. The vibe in here is as you’d expect for a small hippie market in a little surf town, and the clientele match to the T. The prices are fairly well in line with the remote island location and the quality of the food. So this little oasis will likely always be a stock-up spot for nearby travels.

Hippy girl cashier at Harvest Market why are you so unfriendly? The line up to pay for healthy vegan organic salad bar lunch is way long but everyone seems chill and okay with it. I thought hippy people have free love and are into hugging trees or something? What about being nice to human beings, or at least smiling instead of copping a scowl. The lunch salad bar at this place is phe-nom-enal! Five star good.(Three stars kind of go missing ‘tho when the vibe is this nefarious) just sayin’ g

My God, I almost burst into tears when I walked into this place. As the lone vegan traveling in Kauai with 18 omnivores, I was started to get gastronomically depressed by eating the same tofu and salad concoction every night. Luckily we stopped in Hanalei and I found my personal Whole Foods and stocked the hell up. They had all the usual suspects and make a damn good tofu salad to boot. I really dig the fact that they reuse their boxes as shopping bags!
