It’s not much to look at, but it’s what’s inside that counts. Great fast, friendly service and great food at a great price. Love the burgers, and the meat omlette for breakfast. If you have room, the milkshakes are a can’t miss.

This is a tiny diner located in an even tinier town; Hamptonville. If you blink, you’ll miss both. The outside is very run down looking, but don’t let that fool you. I never ate here for the simple fact that it looks scary (not going to lie!). After living here over a year, my husband demanded we go eat there one day. So, we did. To my surprise, I actually enjoyed myself. I felt a little out of place since there seems to be a lot of regulars and they kind of stare at you like «where did you come from?» The servers are friendly and well-​known. They like to laugh and joke which means they must like working there. I had lemonade, and while it wasn’t freshly squeezed (I think it may have been something along the lines of Country-​time powdered lemonade), it was still decent. The food is pretty good. They have a wide variety on their menu for being such a small place. Sadly, I was too full to try one of their homemade desserts. Maybe next time. This is a nice little place to grab a quick lunch.
