One of our favorite Thai spots. The chicken spring rolls, served with their homemade peanut sauce, are amazing!

Very yummy, affordable, and of great size. I’m so happy that I stopped by on my way back to DC. Now this place makes me hate all the other Thai restaurants I’ve tried in DC now…

Awesome place to be introduced to Thai food. All the entrées are served hot and delicious. If you order the Drunken Noodles, served with just the right amount of heat, you really can’t go wrong. But please do yourself the honor of quenching your thirst with the Thai Sweet Tea… once you’ve tried that… you won’t go back to regular tea. If your man enough try the soup with Mussels, Calamari, and Shrimp… it’s large(really large), but oh so delightful.

Lovely little gem for home cooked Thai food. Spiced to order too. Yum! We followed Unilocal to find it for lunch and were surprised to find it tiny and hidden in a strip mall. Inside it was clean and tidy; the service was great, and the food fresh, tasty and cooked with love.

Had the Chicken Drunken Noodles and it was so delicious. Also had the egg rolls and they were awesome. Skip the soda and have some homemade Thai Tea… what a treat. If you’re looking for fresh, authentic Thai food, you’ve got to try Ya’s.

This place is a must! Staff is super friendly and it’s clean. Food portions are large and we’ll priced. Couldn’t finish all the food of took over half of it to go. We had the pad thai, drunken noodles, and pork dumplings. All were terrific!

Ordered the massaman curry with shrimp and asked for it medium hot. I got chicken and it definitely was not hot. It was flavorful. The potatoes could have been smaller chunks. Service was prompt. A small place that can seat 16. Very unassuming from both the outside and inside. Overall, if you are nearby, try it but I would not go out of the way or say it’s great.

WOW!!! Wow seems too bland to describe this incredible little Thai restaurant. The service is wonderful. The food is fantastic. And they are accommodating to your dietary needs or cravings. Their attitude is «If we have the ingredients, why not make it for you.» Ya has a lifetime of cooking for the public, but unlike some, her passion grows with every meal. I love people who love what they do and Ya’s passion shines brightly. If you are lucky enough to be waited on by her daughter and co-owner, Tina, you will find another class act. Tina also has a passion for their little restaurant. If I must find a negative it would have to be that I did not find Ya’s sooner. To think of all the times I could have eaten the best Thai around.

Great little hole in the wall spot with amazing food and customer service. My girlfriend and I live close by so we eat there a lot. Try the thai iced coffee and the fried bananas with any meal.

Been here many times. The food is pretty hit and miss depending on what you order and it seems like they over do the onion to save on money. Beware of the sweet and sour, don’t say I didn’t warn you! Place is very small and the tables are very close together so expect to be a part of EVERY conversation.

This was a wonderful experience!!! I had the fresh chicken spring rolls and pad Thai. I highly recommend both. If you like spicy food you can handle the Thai hot. I found the Thai hot less hot than in other places. Friendly and timely service was icing on the cake in relation to the great food! I’ll definitely return soon!!!

After having moved to the Hampton roads area a few months ago I have been looking for a Thai place to go to when I get that craving. I found this place which is about 20 minutes from my new home in Suffolk. I saw the reviews and decided I had to try this place. The first appraisal I will give is that it the location itself is tiny. It isn’t necessarily a bad thing but I wouldn’t plan on bringing a group here. I think the maximum occupancy of the whole dining area is probably about 14. The décor is fine and the customer service is good. My wife and I ordered the egg roll appetizer and received one of each of the three options available for our daughter to eat. She enjoyed them and we thought they were very good and obviously made fresh and to order which is always great. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef. The beef was tender and the dish was flavorful. I ordered mine medium and was surprised by the amount of spice but in a good way. I don’t know if I would have been able to finish my meal if I had gotten it spicier. My wife ordered the papaya salad. It was fresh and had a good flavor although it was not my favorite preparation of the dish. It came with a slice of cabbage on the side that seemed like a strange garnish and in the future we will be trying something different, perhaps the soup that another customer received that looked humongous. All the dishes were very large and the price was fantastic as well. We will definitely be back.

Three in our party, and we all agreed it was the best Thai food we have had. We ordered fried eggrolls, fresh spring rolls, pad Thai, yellow curry, and veggie fried rice. All delicious and we will certainly return.

This is definitely my go to place for Thai food. The food here is always great. The restaurant itself is a small carry out with few places to sit. But still a very good choice to grab a bite to eat

Heat was just right. Flavor was incredibe. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality of flavor. Will be back. Often…

I have been there a lot and love the food. My all time time favourite is the Garlic and Black Pepper Chicken. I love the way they do Tofu. On a hot day try the fresh spring rolls with Tofu, delicious. Haven’t had a bad meal ever. Truly authentic home cooked Thai food ! Love it !

Been here about 3 times in the first few weeks it was open. Tried 4 different dishes so far and everything is on par with the other Thai shops in the area. One thing I can highly recommend is the cashew chicken. It’s by far my favorite thing on the menu so far. Place is really small so if it gets busy be prepared to wait. Probably only six tables in the place so it’s better for takeout in my opinion. Doesn’t look like they serve any alcohol either. But I did not ask. All in all a great place to get Thai for take out. Haven’t had a bad meal here yet.
