Great southern hospitality here!(5 stars for hospitality and 3 stars for room, but good deal nevertheless, compared to other local rates for extended stay) As far as the rooms go… the bed sheets don’t seem to fit the bed, and some beds have tattered old blankets under the comforters. The rooms on the first floor seem a little more worn down than the second floor(the toilets on the 2nd floor seem to flush better too). The front desk says most people prefer the first floor because they don’t have to use the elevator. Damn lazy people! I actually moved from the first floor to the 2nd floor so I can leave my curtains open all day without possible passersby looking in(the lighting isn’t that great in the rooms). And since there is no gym onsite, I can at least get a little bit of excercise walking up and down the stairs. I stayed here while on a field job, so was able to compare rooms with my coworkers who were spread out on all 3 floors of the hotel(3rd floor is smoking). Anyway, each room comes with a refrigerator, 2-burner stove, microwave, coffeemaker(but no coffee), 1 pot, 1 pan, dishes/utensils, TV, and ironing board. The shower has no bath tub… but why the hell would you want to take a bath at a cheap hotel unless you were drunk or unless you are one of my coworkers who shall remain nameless.
