Stanley W. Schoolcraft III, Esquire

We used Stan Schoolcraft, (I can’t even call him an attorney), for a small claims case and he was the laziest attorney I have ever met. He never did any research for our case, called us on a Friday late after noon to let us know we had a court date of that Monday at 9 am. He asked us to come over to his home at 7:30 am to go over what the case was. When we got there he spent 15 minutes of our time getting ready to answer emails from his students. He then told us that we had been offered a $ 1500 settlement but forgot to tell us that the plaintiff had filed an amendment for another $ 1073. He brought out some papers with list of questions he was going to ask the witnesses and there were maybe 2 questions on each page. When we finally got to court he completely went into «let’s get this over fast, I don’t want to be here any longer than I need to be». The attorney for the plaintiff was great! He asked all great questions and had papers that he had done research on. He had actually worked for what the plaintiff paid him! I would never, never recommend Schoolcraft to anyone! I feel sorry for the students that pay to have his class. He told us that he had never lost a case. Now we know why that is, He has his clients take a settlement. What a loss of talent that someone else could actually do better to help someone like us with. I only gave it a 1 star because they didn’t have a negative 5 stars.
