Great poker room in New Hampshire! The rake is $ 1 higher than Foxwoods(up to 5 $ a pot versus 4 $ a pot for a ½ NL game) but for convenience is a lot better. This is a relatively small building when you drive up but considering it’s mainly one large room it actually feels a lot more spacious. On a Saturday afternoon there was a large amount of tourney players as well as a few cash tables, a couple ½ NL and one 2⁄4NL. The players here are mostly very aggressive and can make for exciting poker. Expect pots to be large. The table I sat at overall was one of the more aggressive tables I have ever sat at playing poker. I’m looking forward to coming back when I can and hopefully win some money next time. FYI, they charge for drinks unlike Foxwoods, and you can’t bring your own, not even a sealed water!

I love this place. I’ve been up to play half a dozen time. The poker is great — with the best trained dealers and floor staff in New Hampshire. But here’s something funny about my last visit. I was driving back from Maine. The highway leading to Boston was completely backed up on a Sunday afternoon. So I decided to take a detour for a few hours to The Poker Room. I arrived, starved from having been sitting in my car all day without eating. The tables were full(it was a holiday weekend) so I decided to get something to eat while I waited — and watch the sports that were on TV. They had some appetizer specials(I don’t remember specifically what they were). I ordered some and watched the game. They were so good that I just kept ordering food, drinking beer, and watching TV. I never got around to poker at all! So here’s the thing. Yes, this is a great poker room. But you can also come just for the food! It’s great too.

Very clean room with your choice of poker, blackjack or roulette. Bar with good selection of draft and bottled beer. Friendly staff and dealers. The atmosphere is very relaxing which truly allows poler players to concentrate. Lucky for me that on my first visit they had the very recently introduced no limit ½ poker. I would definitely recommend this spot for a few hours of gaming after a long day at the beach(or the office).

When I say this is as good as it gets, I’m saying that if you want to play No-Limit Hold ‘Em, you literally cannot find a better legal option if you live North of Boston(i.e. New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, much of Massachusetts) without driving down to Foxwoods or Mohegan. I understand this might change once Mass gets its casinos rolling, but as of July 1, 2015, when this room was allowed to start dealing No-Limit games due to new legislation legalizing Table Stakes poker, it became the best option around. If you like glitzy décor, slot machines, free drinks, expensive hotel rooms, and giant poker rooms full of all-day pros and grinders, this isn’t your place. But if you like a room full of normal people playing live NL cash games pretty much all the time, you have found it. Ironically, for a charity casino(NH’s casinos must give something like 30% of income to charity and 20% to the state with the remainder used to run the joint) the promotions here are better than at many casinos I’ve visited in my home state of Arizona. The room is bright and clean and the floor managers and dealers are smart, down-to-earth folks who like their jobs(rather than fearful peons under the oppressive thumb of hungry corporate casino overlords). I want to go here every day, but summer doesn’t last forever. If you live here, enjoy it!

I was beyond impressed with The Poker Room at One Lafeyette. I used to frequent the Manch Vegas Poker Room in Manchester but no more. This is better than Manch Vegas by leaps and bounds. The Whole building is very nice and clean. The dealers were nice and the building and grounds were well maintained. They had a good beer selection and you can dinner for a reasonable price. The 50 dollar Tuesday night tournament is my favorite. You get 12k in starting chips and there’s no addons or rebuys. Finally, a Charity tourney that’s fair! The players aren’t jerks too. More of an older crowd and definitely more civil than most card rooms i’ve been to. Unlike Manch Vegas the chips are nice and don’t stick together. I can’t wait to return.

I can’t say enough bad things about the dealers and/or the leadership here. I was kicked out last night because I wasn’t tipping the dealer so he created a big problem out of seemingly nothing. I figure that he wanted a tipping patron in my seat. Little did he know that I was going to tip the dealers 5% of my earnings at the end of the night. I was winning when I got kicked out but obviously didn’t tip them. Don’t go here. I won’t.

Anyone giving a bad review because the room has bad players is an idiot. Bad players is who I want to make my money off of. If you can’t beat these«bad» players what does that make you? Room isn’t perfect, but it’s not a high class casino. It’s a local poker room. It does a dam good job living up to that.

My husband and I really enjoyed gambling here this past weekend. It is a good size room, non-smoking, with multiple table games. There is also a bar area as well. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and fun. The roulette table wasn’t open when we had arrived which is the reason we went in the first place, so I asked a manager and he opened it up right away. The employees were happy for you when you won which I really really enjoyed! It is a fun, low key and laid back(not loud, rowdy, or smoky) «casino» that we will be looking forward to returning to. We are in our late 20’s but the majority of the crowd were seniors. Either way, we had a great time :)

Horrible. Dealers and floor are marginal. Players as a whole are bad. The management does nothing for players. You come and spend your money and what poker room can’t even give free soft drinks as a perk to their players? Most poker rooms give free alcohol let alone a fountain soft drink — only room I’ve ever attended that didn’t.

To be honest, I simply went out of curiousity about the place. Listen guys and gals, it’s NOT Las Vegas or Mohegan or Foxwoods… it’s a small place to gamble in NH, so take that into consideration when writing your reviews. If you want a high end casino, come on now, you know NH isn’t the place to throw that dough around! It was actually pretty busy… and more than anything, the staff was super friendly. I really am not an expert at playing card, and people were helpful. unless they were intense about winning alot of cash, then I knew to keep my distance and stick with a table less busy. I hung out at the bar with a friend and the bartenders were SUPER friendly. Luckily, the bartender of the night, Alyra, kept a smile on her face, and did super well with keeping everyone’s drinks full and making sure they had enough food. she not only covered the bar, but people coming in from the«casino» area ordering food and cocktails from their tables. For a busy night, I was impressed with her friendliness and professionalism. Ok, so like I said, it’s not Mohegan(where I believe you get served drinks in plastic cups in certain sections fo the casino) and here is no different. Drinks are a LITTLE overpriced($ 6 to $ 8 for a 8 oz cocktail. seems a little too much, but whatever, the service was worth it), but we had a great time. everyone was super friendly. I have to add, they have security to walk women to their car or at least make sure they get their safe. HUGE plus side to a small gambling place, and get’s a big high five from me for that! Good job NH!

Horrible, won’t ever go here again. The dealers a terrible, the floor managers don’t have a clue and the players are the worst I’ve ever seen. The structure of their tournaments are average at best and the cash tables are a joke. The only positive thing I can say, it’s a very clean place. I suggest you look elsewhere to play cards.

CALLINGALLDONKIES! Oh wait! You are already here… I’ve been all around the US playing poker. AC, Vegas, Carribean, Aruba and this place has got to have the most clueless players I have ever seen in my life. But they will somehow beat you! Its decent sized, 2 floors, friendly bartenders to wait on you hand and foot while you play poker. The surrounding area of Seabrook doesn’t seem too nice(especially the gross strip mall across the street). If you want to come here to play poker be prepared to shove all in with your aces and get 6 callers. This place would have gotten 4 stars but i was there last week and they had Annie Duke there giving seminars so I lost all respect for any establishment that would welcome such a giant douche scumbag cheater.
