My fiancée loves the pizza and the garlic knots. Dinner in the back room is excellent. I suggest avoiding going here on a Sunday after 6pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day due to the Boardy Barn but its worth it anytime

I am from the area and this would most definitely not be my first choice. On a regular day(other than Sunday during the summer) it is an okay pizzeria. I once went on a Sunday and I was talked down to and completely overpriced. The workers seemed very flustered and made up prices as they went along.

Came here on a boardy barn sunday. These guys are a rip-off, making up numbers in their heads to pocket a quick buck. 1 cheese slice, chicken roll, and a bottled water was $ 15. They don’t have a menu at the store, and dont have receipts. But they do have a menu on Unilocal(chicken roll=$ 6.50) so a plain slice and Poland Spring=8.50. Like I said, these guys charge what they like. The couple next to me got 3 slices and 3 waters, $ 25. This place is a rip-off. Go to Moes next door and get yourself a real bang for your buck. I hope this place goes out of business.

I ordered delivery from approximately three miles away from the restaurant. It arrived an hour later, cold. I only received half my order, when I called to ask where the other half was the person said they sent it and then hung up. Awful.

I ordered the pasta fajioli soup and what I got was over priced, under sized, brown prison mush. I am extremely disappointed that I wasted 7 $ on this brown prison mush. I literally heated up a can of Campbell’s soup instead of eating their soup. Save yourself the time, money, and trouble and just buy a can of soup or go to da vincis down the street before you come here.

Best pizza in town! I’ve been going here since I was young and the food is always consistently good. The pizza is great, garlic bread is fresh and not greasy at all. Their salads are always fresh not like some of the other places around here that the lettuce seems a bit old, and I’m also a huge fan of their wings. Also, when delivered some pizzas end up having the cheese all runny and moved around, and theirs never is. I’ve never had a problem with costumer service here, even over the phone. The staff is friendly and their delivery service is always speedy. I’m not quite sure how they have any negative reviews on here, considering I’ve been going here for years and don’t have a single one.

You can disregard any comments from people who posted after visiting on a Sunday in the summer — drunken boards barners, enough said. This place is my go-to for anything Italian. As a local girl, I basically grew up in this place and am thankful that some things(like the fresh ingredients and made-to-order food) don’t change. Favorite pizza: chicken parmigiana(although the buffalo pizza is a close second) Favorite entrée: chicken Mediterranean Favorite hero: eggplant parmigiana with extra sauce Meatballs are also awesome, the size of baseballs, and everything is homemade! From the fresh sauces to the rice ball parmigiana, this place can’t be beat!

Recently posted review under Partos in Riverhead but these people are the new owners and it was their food I was reviewing. Worst pizza ever. Thin crust. No cheese. Tasted like Dominos. We measured almost 3 inches from the edge with no cheese or sauce. Bottom had nasty crumbly things. Sorry they took over my favorite Partos in Riverhead and ruined their food!

Uncle Joe’s is the best! I have been both getting take out and eating in the dining room for many years(30+ yrs.). Uncle Joe treats you like family. All of the meals are made fresh using the freshest ingredients. Everything is delicious! It’s a shame that some people wrote reviews after drinking at the Boardy Barn. That crowd can be very drunk and disrespectful. Stop by Uncle Joe’s and see for yourself — the food is amazing! Just avoid Sunday evening when the Boardy Barn crowd desend.

Don’t know how the food is and will not even bother to find out how the food is because there service is terrible. I called in for delivery service for my boyfriend since he is not feeling so good. I couldn’t place the order because I wanted to pay for him via credit card. They straight out said they can’t take the order because the credit card physically has to be at the delivery place. It is obscure. I have never heard such a thing before. The worst part is they didn’t give me a chance to explain my situation. Never going to this place again. Sorry but if they don’t like to listen to their customer and try to work with them, then I will rather take my business to somewhere where there is a value for their customer. P.S I won’t even give one star to this place.

I order Uncle Joe’s because it is the only Italian place that delivers to where I live. The food is subpar. Whenever I get the manicotti the sauce is very watery. Pizza tastes and feels like it’s a day old. The bread they throw in with the meal is terrible. When you call with a complaint or concern, they don’t apologize or give you a refund, they give you a five dollar coupon for your next order. If you go in to pick up your food, or even dare to stay in and dine, don’t expect expect good service. I was a frequent customer, too many bad experiences, I’ll have to find another Italian restaurant.

They serve food from the night before and the service is absolutely terrible. Every italian restaurant throws away their pizza at night and makes fresh pies daily. Not Uncle Joe though, Uncle Joe likes to save a few bucks! Place is a shit hole to eat in and for some reason they watch the bathrooms like hawks. It’s weird, I know.

It may look like the typical pizza joint in a strip mall, but walk around to the back, then around the corner. It’s real Italian food with excellent table service. It’s friendly, laid back, and a great value. Joe will visit your table to be sure everything is good.

Great BEETZA. Japanese bread crumbs on the crust… Been going here for years. Joe is a great guy… Many good things on the menu. Eat in the dining room.

Hard to give this place an accurate review — I used to really like their pizza, but on my last visit, the quality just wasn’t what it used to be. Granted, my standards are high when I’m in NY — hell, it’s where God created pizza …(or was it Italy? ;) We dined in the day the BF arrived in HB, and they heated up the pizza for us to the point where it was overly crispy. Not so hot. We also had their pizza both before AND after the Boardy Barn(hence why their location must pay off for them). It was good before the Barn — apparently they had just opened so it was super fresh. Soft & cheesy, the way I like it. Post Barn … well, it was good, but my taste buds weren’t exactly at their sharpest. All in all, it’s still pretty good, but they’re inconsistent. A few years ago, this might have been my favorite pie place in town, but now … well, it’s gone downhill. Hopefully next time it’ll be back to the top of my list.

Can’t say I’ve had a sober slice here, and could’ve sworn I once shelled out $ 20 for 2 slices for myself and a friend(maybe $ 10 didn’t seem unreasonable around 8:15 pm on a summer Sunday?, not sure). I did, however, praise all things holy and unholy after enjoying my double-digit-worthy piece of cheese and bread(don’t remember much sauce, but maybe my shirt did).

Rip off $ 3 slices that really suck. The pizza here is horrible. Way to gouge hungry people coming from the boardy barn!
