Wife and I ate lunch here for the first time today. The restaurant is in a great location on a golf course. The restaurant itself is rather nice and had indoor and outdoor seating. We didn’t know it was seat yourself so we tried to find an employee. Some customers helped us find the waitress who told us to sit anywhere. We sat by a window overlooking a pond.
The waitress didn’t seem very welcoming or happy to be there. She took our orders and our food was promptly prepared and delivered.
We had fried shrimp for apps, egg salad sandwich, and the cheeseburger with bacon added. The food was good, not great, just good.
Overall we were left partially satisfied. Not sure if we’ll return or not. It was worth a try, given all the reviews.

Great spot for a casual lunch. Also open on the weekends for dinner.
Food is consistently good and a very friendly staff. Glad it is open to the public so everyone in the area has a chance to stop in for some good food and great service.

Perfect for lunch. Food was great. Had lunch there several times. Sandwiches with great bread. Great specials. Burgers tasty, big and juicy. Priced reasonably. Service friendly and prompt. Best in Hampstead!

This restaurant is located at Olde Point Country Club. I have eaten there quite often, the food and service are great. You get good portions with reasonable prices. They have a full service bar. There are daily food and drink specials. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

The new Gem of Hampstead.
We have been a few times since they opened. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Service was great and fast even with a large party. The bartender is fun and knowledgeable in making you a drink if you tell her the flavor your after.
Well worth a try.
Supporting local is always a plus.
Can’t wait to go back.
