Auger Property Maintenance

We had Auger do a spring clean-​up for us not long ago. They did a wonderful job and our yard looks great. We decided to have them mow for us since time is tight, and its so nice to come home to your yard looking awesome! It’s one less thing to worry about, they do a great job, and I would definitely recommend Auger if you’re looking for lawn services.

I used this Company last year for mowing. With increasing demands at work, I no longer had the time to take care of lawn care myself. They did a fine job and kept my yard looking good all Summer. They even called me a couple times to say the lawn didn’t really need mowing and gave me the option to mow or not to mow, definitely appreciated. The prices were very reasonable. I got a spring clean up reminder email and a follow up post card. When i finally called they came the very next day and in a flash my Spring clean up chore was done and over with.
We are very pleased and happy they will be taking care of the mowing duties again this year.

Having used Auger for various services (spring cleanup, fall cleanup, weekly mowing, snow cleanup, yard rehaul, irrigation system install, mulching, etc.) over the last 3 years, I can say without hesitation that,
1.) their work is excellent.
2.) they are very easy to deal with.
Marty handles quoting, design, and job oversight; Jennifer handles the back-​end. Both do a very good job. Their crew is professional (in appearance and behavior) and efficient.
With the weekly recurring services, it’s a set it and forget it type of deal. The coupons in the mail help too. And they never try to sell you jobs that you might not need.
My yard has gone from a mess to among the nicer ones in the neighborhood.

Hired Auger to do a large front yard remodel and had met with the owner, Marty Auger on a few occassions to make sure that we were on the same page. On the day of the work, Marty came out with his team to walk them through the property and make sure that each and every one understood the scope of the work. I was onsite and thought this was a very good approach. All of the workers appeared professional as they were wearing company shirts. They has a bobcat for some of the work and they did lots of manual labor to prep the areas.
I was asked to contact Marty to discuss some of the concerns on the billing for this project and I think that is great. He wants to know my areas of concern and work to address them. Just as an example, one of the works told me they thought that a specific rock would look really nice in one of the created beds.” I said sounds good and they rolled the rock about 10 feet to its final resting place. That rock moving was a $ 20.00 line item on the bill, which I was not told was going to be a cost up front.
Auger also completes my weekly grass cutting and they have been very consistent. I am happy to have them starting to clean up my yard.

We called them to clean up our long lawn since we just built our house and the grass was finally growing and filling in… we asked them to weed wack up at the top of our yard as well. They did not touch the top of our yard and it was cut off very awkwardly. I called and explain the situation and the girl who answers the phone explained that they would come out and fix it no problem… no one ever showed up… I had the same conversation with the same girl two more times… we left it that she was really going to have someone come fix it. They never came… we got an invoice in the mail with a small credit to our bill saying «Sorry we did not make it out there. Have your new landscape people cut it. Thanks!» Needless to say, they just lost a customer and any referral business from us. Very disappointed.
