Went there Wedsday for supper. My wife had a Rubin and I had the ribeye. My wifes sandwich was good. My charbroiled steak was fantastic I also had the augroton potatos the were equally as good. The price is fair and worth it.

Parkside is not only delicious, but they serve the 652nd Engineer Company every drill weekend. Their food is always good and the staff is always friendly. Haven’t been to the bar side yet.

For 11.95 all you can eat ribs on a Sunday night. Sounds like a good deal right? Well this place gave us a little gastric-emo roller coaster ride. We approached the salad bar and yuck, the iceberg was rusty and the cole slaw icky. But the lesson is: Do not judge a restaurant on the condition of its salad bar on a Sunday night. That said, the soup on the salad bar — beer cheese — was very good.(I’ve not had that since its appearance on menus in the late 1970s-early 1980s, but hey, this is way outer-ring metro area Wisconsin so it makes perfect sense.) The pork ribs were fantastic as were the skin-on au gratins(really chunky and cheesy, with scallions, and a huge portion). Also the second lesson is here as this Wisconsin, the advertised special(Sunday: Pork Tenderloin) may be subject to change FORTHEBETTER: Ribs. All the meat is from Olson’s Woodville Meats so I’m thinking next time, steak or ?. They have a number of buffets, too, which I’ve «heard» are good. Don’t expect a special atmosphere as this is classic Wisconsin bar/family restaurant interior. Hunters, farmers, barflies, elderly, families, kids galore, come-as-you-are etc. No hipsters to be seen. Smoke-free in summer 10.
