Yes, it’s the same salon that my grandma used to go to when she needed a set and perm. So here’s why I go to a salon… During my recovery from knee surgery, I went to the eye doctor for my annual exam. All of a sudden I find out I now need to wear glasses. Okay, so what’s this have to do with going to a salon? Just watch, kids… Here comes the cute part… My daughter(she’ll be six in a week! Ugh!) says, «Daddy, now that you have to wear glasses, you can’t bald your head up!» What? That doesn’t make sense? «No, Daddy, it doesn’t look right.»(See my profile pic of me and her… You’ll notice I used to use my own clippers. SO much easier when I’m in the water, plus I never had to worry about the seal on my mask. Oh well, on with the story…) So I’ve let my hair grow out and haven’t found a barber that I’m comfortable with. I take that back, my favorite barber has goofy hours and with my schedule, I can never make it in there on time, so I go to the salon. Sandy owns the salon. Sandi cuts my hair. Amazing. Last time she cut my hair, I got carded for buying beer! How awesome is that? I whipped that id out so fast, the clerk’s head spun! Plus I like to go there ’cause it reminds me of when I’d go and sit while my grandma go her hair done. Good times, good memories. So I will continue to go back!
