This is a cool, hidden place with limited hours (I think they’re open like 2 days a week) and like Ellmore’s, it’s the «real deal» in regards to being a small business. They specialize in native plants and no chemicals. Supposedly Abernethy is herbicide (bee killer) –free, but you always wonder about stock that isn’t grown there… I don’t have that worry with Watermark Woods. I absolutely trust their plants to be environmentally safe. Also, if you’re looking for shade plants, they have a great selection of neat ones here.

Watermark Woods is an excellent nursery to purchase beautiful, healthy native plants. All the plants are 100% native and pesticide free. Julie is extremely knowledgeable and has a green thumb when it comes to growing plants! Julie loves what she does and it shows in her nursery! I highly recommend Watermark Woods!

This nursery is a little hidden gem! I have visited it often over the last 2 years, as I am transforming a formerly wild grassy area into a meadow. Since adding the native plants, the insect, butterfly and bird activity has increased dramatically. The perennials I purchased were smaller plants with very healthy root systems, that established well. The variety is excellent, as well as the prices and I always check their website, to see what is in stock and what is coming, so I can plan my garden. Can’t say enough about this wonderful place!
