Texas Roadhouse

Great steakhouse the steak is cooked to order everytime and very tinder the rolls are great can’t get enough of them service is good but sometimes the wait for a seat is long but in my opinion very well worth the wait.

Eight of us ate there last night and all of us were really pleased with the service Anthony gave us and the fantastic food. My wife and I split the 16 ounce Ft. Worth Ribeye. Four of us ordered steaks and all were cooked perfectly. The flavor and quality of the meat was outstanding. All sides were great — house salad with real-​deal ranch dressing, bacon infused green beans, etc. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the rolls and cinnamon butter, beware because they’re an appetite destroyer!

It started off good until they turned on the music. Holy cow! So loud my kids had their ears covered. Ask if they could turn it down and they said no. The food is what you would expect for a sit down fast food place. Microwaved garbage. We only came here because the kids wanted to hang out with friends who also came up. At least the rolls were good. Steak was terrible.

Hamilton, while making changes, still really hasn’t picked up the slack on the lack of good sit-​down restaurants. Texas Roadhouse, in my opinion, is by far and away your best option for a hearty meal on the west side.
The dinner rolls & cinnamon butter that come complimentary are a staple and absolutely fantastic. They used to be generous with these, but expect to have to ask for them some of the time. Not a big deal. Also, they don’t seem to put the peanuts out much anymore, so if you want them then you’ll likely have to ask for those, as well.
Nice, relaxed atmosphere where you’ll feel comfortable in any attire. Bar never seems to be too rowdy and the bartenders always seem to be completely familiar with who’s sitting there. I’m guessing their clientele is a lot of regulars. It has a fun vibe to it, with local sports memorabilia on the walls, the game playing on the TVs and country music playing at a louder but totally reasonable volume.
Their grilled chicken salad I’d out of sight. The ranch dressing is thick and full of flavor and they are generous with the hard boiled egg; my favorite thing to put on a salad. Recently I’ve been getting their sirloin steak and it’s been fabulous each time. Cooked exactly how I asked and very tender and juicy. I also highly recommend their mashed potatos, and if you aren’t concerned about calories then you MUST order a cactus blossom!
Their service is hit or miss. They tend to hire high school and college students that don’t seem to enjoy their jobs. Sometimes you go in and are paired with the friendliest, most attentive young person and other times you’re stuck with someone who can’t seem to get through their shift quick enough. It is what it is, not really a big deal. Certainly not enough to keep me from going back.
Overall, a low maintenance type place with very good food.

Great place for salads, burgers, ‘anything on the kids meal’, steaks, and salmon! I absolutely love salmon, and whenever I go to a new restaurant, if it has salmon then I order the salmon just to compare it to the salmon at Texas Roadhouse, and Texas Roadhouses still has the best salmon.
For those of you that really like fish, perhaps you have heard of «Bonefish Grill», I tried the salmon there, in which it was truly delicious, but the Texas Roadhouse salmon is still the best in my opinion.

We just moved to the area and thought we’d be on the safe side and have dinner at a chain restaurant that we normally love! Texas Roadhouse has cold beers and the best ranch dressing!!! Wow, was that a mistake…
There were 4 hostesses who gabbed and joked around while there was a long line, not even helping to direct the traffic. The wait for 2 was about 20 minutes, place seemed empty, lots of open tables, guess they were a bit under staffed?
Waited for our table at the bar and grabbed a drink… well tried too. One bartender who spent a good 10 minutes making drinks and getting beer for the servers at the back bar. I get this is important but hello… what about all the other patrons at the bar! We patiently waited and a nice younger manager came to help and got our drinks. As we waited some more and empty on drinks the bartender came over and through out our beer bottles but didn’t ask us if we wanted another. So we sat there without drinks until the second bartender came back.
20 minutes later and our buzzer hadn’t gone off… so we tried our luck at the bar. The second bartender joined the bar area and was quite good, very attentive, took our order and we were good to go. And he got us more cold beer! :) Things are looking up!
That is until our food arrived… I asked for no cheese (stomach issue) and of course my salad was piled high with cheese and most of the lettuce was brown… eww My husbands side dish was wrong but we ate it the food because we hate sending food back… you just never know what goes on in a kitchen and we didn’t to «bother» anyone…
Bartender slipped us the check… didn’t even ask if the food was good, ok, or correct or if we needed anything else.
I’d say our first visit and last visit to this :(

I have been to this restaurant a dozen times or more and every time I go the Sirloin is my choice. The quality of their steak is consistently AWESOME. It is a loud atmosphere and that’s the only reason it didn’t get the 5^th star. For anyone in the Hamilton area, Texas Roadhouse has the best steaks — hands down.

Texas Roadhouse is always busy on Friday and Saturday nights, but for chain, it’s worth the wait if you want a steak. The service at this venue has always been top notch, and the food preparation has always been good. Only once have I had a problem with a delay on food, and that was many years ago. Also good for take-​out, if you don’t want to wait for a table. They’ll even sing for you on your birthday.

Had the best server yet tonight. Dominic was super friendly and had our drinks and rolls full at all times. Got all of our orders correct and the food was cooked perfect. Thanks!

As busy as they were, with call ahead seating we waited about 3 minutes. The service was quick and the waiter was very friendly. The food came out quickly and was prepare great. Great food and a great value.

Serice was great. Food was delivered lukewarm.

This to me is by far the best. Staff is always friendly, knows when you need refill or rolls before you do. Love the call ahead to put your name on list. Steaks are big and good. Ribs are great, better then most rib places.

It’s your typical commercial Steakhouse, been there probably 4 or 5 times now and always a long wait, food is ok nothing really to jump and down about, staff has been friendly everytime I’ve been there, they do have good hot rolls :)

About what you would expect. Big, family-​style, chain steakhouse. Full pkg lot on a Friday night, noisy inside, free salted peanuts with shells on the floor. Steaks, salads and burgers were good. Cooked as requested. Service good. BIG eaters.

I believe this is the 1 I went to, nearby Oxford. When I was here visiting my girlfriend (At the time), she told me about a place where they have great steaks and bread with apple butter. I never had apple butter, so I gave it a try. When we went there, the restaurant was packed, with a line coming out the doors. We decided to get a number, and wait in the car. They said around 30 – 45 minutes we should be ok. We waited for about 20 minutes, then decided to check up on the number. Fortunately, right when we came in the restaurant, they called out our number. We got seated, and was immediately presented with a basket of bread and apple butter. The bread, buttery, so tender and delicious, basically melted in your mouth, and with the apple butter? Sinfully good! I ordered a 16 ounce prime rib meal. When I got it, the steak was tender, juicy, filling, great, although it was a bit salty. Had cabernet wine with it, to balance out the flavors. Even though it was really busy, the service was absolutely fantastic! And all you can eat bread with apple butter, free. I love this place. And I just found out there are a few restaurants here where I live too!

Never go on saturday night… the wait was 40 minutes longer than they said… they kept saying 15 minutes more every time we asked.

Every week or two the wife and I meet her Dad (Who lives in Richmond, IN) somewhere in the middle and we have dinner. It’s nice and enjoyable… but, I did have a bit of a problem with this place.
We pulled into the parking lot and there were no spots anywhere, so the wife ran in to see what kind of wait time we were looking at. She called me on my phone and said there was no wait, so I met her dad in the parking lot and went in.
Then, we proceeded to stand in the front of the restaurant for 20 minutes until we got seated. Normally, this wouldn’t be a big deal, but I’m a fat guy, and I wanted some chicken critters.
So, to you Texas Roadhouse in Hamilton: If you say there’s no wait for a table, DON’T LIE TO ME! I’m hungry! I WILL eat one of your servers hands off!
The food and service was pretty good once we got sat… but, it was the pre-​wait time and the lying that really got me down.
Shame on you Texas Roadhouse in Hamilton… Shame on you!
