Spin Doctor Laundromat

I have used Spin Doctor’s wash and fold service at least three times each month over the last year. The owner and staff are very helpful and I can always trust them to do a great job with my things.

Owner is a drama queen and a crybaby and won’t leave me alone because of this review. Place still sucks.

To the poster who gave this place one star; you’re just cheap.
I have a washer & dryer in my apt & while I love having it for clothes, my electric bill totally reflects all the washing I do.
I came to the Spin Doctor to wash my area rugs, runners, kitchen and pet mats on a Friday. There were 4 other people washing and there was more than plenty of room for my 2 triple loads, and 2 double loads. I used 5 dryers and while the total cost was $ 39 dollars, I don’t see it as a loss because I would have had to throw away over $ 250 worth of linens if I hadn’t been able to wash them. I definitely would have broken the washer in my apartment had I tried to tackle my haul at home.
Spin Doctor is the cleanest laundromat I’ve ever been to, including the restroom. Note: (Using your key card for entry is to ensure paying customers use the services. It’s someones job to keep it clean after all)
The machines are easy to use. There is a mid sized wash basin as well as a drinking fountain. The vending machines (supplies & vending) have all you need if you forget anything, the front desk has a variety of products as well. There is a small area in front if you bring your children; it has some things to keep them entertained. There are also booth style tables between the folding area which is very convenient if you’re like me, who took work to do while waiting.
By far the best laundromat I’ve ever been too; wish the ones I had to use while growing up in NYC were this nice. I

Ok, here are my stars, I drove by several other places in the area since they decided to renovate at the apartment I live in. Every place except this one looked questionable at best and unsanitary at least. I for one believe in a better standard and this albeit a bit more pricey than I expected is worth it. You can tell the care and effort that goes into the place as one would want since it is a laundromat, dirty machines even with detergent mean dirty clothes which is not this place. Besides the cleanliness, the convenience of big machines and credit cards is why I have to go all five. Note to other places, clean up the act and add convenience.

Friendly staff, nice machines, free wifi. Only downside is the drink vending machine isn’t exactly cold. But if that’s the price to pay then I’ll deal.
