I couldn’t even tell you if the food was good or not, I ordered a 3 way and the cook grabbed some pasta out of the fridge and put it in the microwave. If I wanted microwaved food I could go to the freezer isle at Kroger.

I feel really bad writing this review, because the service here was great and the food was fresh… but it just wasn’t very good. It was«okay,» but didn’t meet my expectations based on all the high reviews on Unilocal.I had a gyro with fries, and the tzatziki was very bland. The fries were good, but the gyro was just decent. And I was disappointed, because I’d come here craving a flavourful gyro, but that’s not what I got.

Best Gyro I have had since I moved away from Kansas City. Friendly staff, clean place, and great food= a repay customer. For those in the Hamilton area if you haven’t been in you need to.

I love everything they have! They are a family owned restaurant and it shows in the cooking and atmosphere. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and haven’t been disappointed with a thing. I will never go another place to get a gyro!

Good choice for a gyro fix, and they do it well here! Their Cincinnati style chili is a little different, but that’s typical for a traditional Greek diner in this area. Everybody’s chili is the best, right? Chili, coneys, three ways, gyros, and a few more menu offerings. Great for lunch, skip the dessert.

When I walked into the place, the cook and the woman at the counter(the manager) were having what sounded like a family argument(in Greek?), which just enhances the charm of the place. The cook was friendly and greeted me, in between words with the manager. After a bit, the waitress arrived and asked me what I wanted to drink. It’s a small place with a few indoor and a few outdoor tables, plus 3 stools at the counter. Obviously, they can’t handle large crowds in colder weather. They have a drive-thru. One difference I noticed when I entered was the lack of the smell of grease, compared to their location on Brookwood and Washington on the west side of Hamilton. Everything seemed clean at both stores, although it took them a bit of time to clean tables after people left. On the back of the menu, they have some combos, including the #1 combo with the gyros, fries, and drink I ordered for $ 8.99. Does that seem a scary price? The last place where I got such a combo was $ 5.99 and yes, the gyros was smaller with the price. Feta cheese is an additional $ 1.00. Adding a tip takes a bite out of that $ 15.00 you kept for a fancy meal. The food was good, and I was treated well. I can’t say enough how that feels. I’ve been too many places where no one cares, so thanks to them, I felt better, even though they were otherwise occupied with restaurant business. I was kind of surprised to see the waitress carrying several heads of lettuce which were apparently delivered through the drive-thru window. In any case, it was a good experience, even if the price was a bit scary. It seems a little dangerous trying to get into the parking lot. It may be easier to go to where Dixie Highway goes north and use the back way to get into the parking lot, rather than risk a rear end collision.

So, I’ve passed this place a million times, but have never stopped here before. My wife and I were hungry, so we decided to give this place a shot. When we pulled up we thought it was closed because there were literally no cars in the parking lot. We walked up to the door and realized two employees were inside, so we went in. I was a little concerned because my wife is a vegetarian, so I never know if there is going to be something good for her at a place like this. They do have a salad and a vegetarian gyro, as well as fries, but none of it sounded appealing to her, so I decided to get something to go. I mean, you don’t go to a place like this for the décor anyway. I ended up ordering a lamb gyro with feta and an order of fries. I must say, it was pretty good. I don’t have much experience with Gyro places, so it’s hard for me to compare, but I will definitely go back to this one.

Are at the one on Erie Ave. for the first time today. Gyro was GREAT! One of the best I’ve had in town. Lamb was juicy and flavorful. Real Feta on the top was delicious. could have used a little more tzaziki. I will order it without the iceberg lettuce on it next time. Seasoned fries were good. Not too greasy. We will definitely be back.

From Dayton area, my husband is from Fairfield, he raves about this place. We stopped by and had dinner with the kids. The gyros were good, fries were good. We sat outside and ate. The view wasn’t the greatest, it’s a pretty run down area. It was like sitting outside a dairy queen, although, it was a nice evening. I would definitely recommend, but maybe hit their drive thru and munch somewhere else. My hubby tells me that there is a nicer, newer location on the west side.

I like a restaurant that puts it all out there in its name — the only way they could be more upfront is if they called themselves, «Mike’s Chili & Gyros & Fries & sometimes Baklava.» I also like that they cater to my indecisiveness, offering chili AND gyros — both of which are pretty amazing. The staff are always friendly, and the food always tastes great — it’s easily my favorite fast food place in the area.

Mike’s is severely underrated. Some people I know act like it doesn’t exist but the ones that do all love it. The gyros are filled with lamb-y goodness and the pitas are a good texture. When the meat is hot enough, it makes the taziki sauce even creamy and flavorful. Their chili is pretty good too and cheaper than Skyline. 5 conies at Skyline cost 9 bucks and at Mike’s it’s 5.99 for that amount. Their better I promise, and I worked at Skyline for 3 years. I love Mike’s!

My friend and I started randomly meeting here as something of a half point between where we were both living at the time. If the name doesn’t give it away, Mike’s Chili & Gyros serves chili and gyros. The menu is evenly divided between the two, with a few more ordinary items on the menu. The chili is Cincinnati-style, and if you aren’t familiar you might want to stick with the gyros. The gyros are good, but they feel like they are a little on the pricey side, coming in around $ 5-$ 6 with no sides. Fries are easy to add, though, and I always like ordering a cheese coney as a side. Even though we’ve met there several times, the staff have never really warmed up to us, and that’s with us being the only two people in the restaurant for hours on end. In the end, if you like one, either, or both of those things, Mike’s Chilis and Gyros is a good place to go.
