John upgraded a desktop to Win 7 to match with my other PC. He did a very good job, and promptly. Seems to really know his stuff.

I found this guy on Unilocal on my work computer after my computer got a virus on it
(don’t download any adobe update pop ups) and seen he had gotten good reveiws so I gave him a call and was not disapointed he went above and beyond fixing my computer and did it all for only 35.00 I highely recommend him. Thanks again John for fixing my laptop It run like new again :)

If you’re like me you probably believe computers are the greatest things in the world AND that there’s a special place in hell for the inventors. Love/​hate? More like smash-​on-​the-​floor-​into-​a-​million-​bits and OMG-​what-​would-​I-​do-​without-​mine.
So, when wifey’s computer started showing signs of a hardware issue I wasn’t thrilled, especially as it’s just a couple of years old – and, yes, I know that’s like 10 years old in computer-​land. Undaunted, I searched locally for someone who handled this type of problem and found John D’s Computer and Network Service.
Was pleased to learn that John will actually pick-​up your computer for a fee based on how far he has to drive. Don’t you wish more businesses did this? It always irked me that if a plumber had to drive from, say, Brecksville to Shaker that the flat-​rate service call would be the same if said plumber had to drive only a few miles into Independence. Where’s the sense in that? So, that was the first sign this business owner had a clue.
John was able to quickly diagnose the problem. Another cool thing he does is to offer you several options depending on where you want to reside on the quality/​speed scale. Want it done post-​haste with only THE most expensive replacement parts out there? Knock yourself out. Not in that much of a rush? Fine, it will cost a bit less. Again, this business owner has a clue. Many clues.
John gave an estimate for both time and cost. And then he beat his estimate on how long it would take, for which my wife and I were very appreciative. And his prices are down-​to-​earth reasonable.
Look, the last thing you want when you have a computer hassle is MORE hassles. You want someone who actually acts like s/​he has YOUR best interests at heart, not theirs. So many, many vendors would learn a thing or three from John D. The only thing you’ll learn is that you should have used him much sooner than you did.

FRIDAY FREAKOUT: Computer screen goes black; nothing happens — no Task Manager, no Safe Mode, no nothing but nothingness.
