Golden Dragon

Food is pretty decent for a buffet.
Wonder if they will ever re-​fill the sushi, like this everytime, they just let it go empty.
Just so so service, instead of our waiter walking to the other end of the table to retrieve our empty plates, he kept motioning, not even asking, for us to pass them down! Cmon man!

I use to go there when I first moved to town. But they are just average at best. Old rather drive to tylersville road and eat at that Chinese buffet

There is an array of offerings on the lunch and dinner buffets, they have a hibachi grill and sushi as well. I don’t like the atmosphere, I don’t like the service. You’re going there to cram your face with food. That’s it. If you’re starving and in the mood for average to above average Chinese food in large amounts, then go here. Only time I do is when my friend who is obsessed with Chinese food talks my group of friends into going.

Golden Dragon has a broad variety of items on the buffet, and as mentioned by Molly G, they also have sushi and hibachi. I’ve never tried the sushi or the hibachi, but I’ve hit the buffet more than once. I like the selection and they do a pretty good job of not letting the food get nasty on the buffet, which is nice. I can’t tell you how many buffets I’ve been to where the food was getting dried out, stale, or generally disgusting because they weren’t keeping it fresh. We’ve even had it fresh later in the evening, even though they were getting to the end of their open hours.
The service has always been prompt as well. Although you usually don’t need a lot when hitting the buffet, having plates cleared in a timely manner and having your glass refilled promptly make it a nice experience.
My main reasons for lowering the star count is because Golden Dragon is just average, and because I don’t go here often because I tend to end up with an upset stomach afterwards. There’s nothing wrong with the food, but one of the ingredients they use clearly gives me trouble. Other than that, great place to go.

The Golden Dragon in Hamilton continues to have an array of great Asain food, including sushi. Hibachi is also available. Even the American dishes like Mac N Cheese are good. The atmosphere is charming and there is plenty of room for large parties. Service is always good, too. The only downside is the location. The parking lot has not been repaved in years as it sits in an old shopping center that needs a lot of updating.
