Do not stay here. First of all it is in Hamilton which is one of the most crime-ridden cities in Ohio. Second, people apparently live here and stay up all night running around and screaming. It is 1:14am and I have called the front desk three or four times since 11:58 about the noise. Each time I call, the front desk worker, Lance, pretends to be surprised. He continues to assure me that he will take care of the problem but the problem has not been taken care of and so I apparently paid a significant chunk of change for a sleepless night. I expected the flies in the room because it is Hamilton. I wasn’t even surprised when there was NOONE working the front desk when I first arrived. I had to wait for over ten minutes to check in while the desk remained unmanned. This place could clearly use some new management!

This hotel is great! I am in town for business and this location is perfect for where I will be in meetings. The lobby is very inviting and the rooms are top notch. Room amenities are plenty, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are nice. I checked in late and the front desk service girl was nice and accommodating. She engaged in small talk while getter no my room keys ready, i believe her name is Ashley and she was a joy to speak with. I will definitely be using this hotel again.

Nicer than average Courtyard, area below average, restaurant doesn’t fit guests in my opinion. Service is hit or miss. Good stay, breakfast options OK, bar OK.

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, the staff is good… but my room was right next to the elevators, which meant I could hear loud, annoying beeping every two minutes. White noise headphones to the rescue! Next time I will ask for a room AWAY from the elevators.

The pool is extremely small and there’s not a hot tub. Workout roomies very small too. Rooms were nice and clean.

This hotel had the most friendly, helpful, courteous staff. It makes being away from home comfortable. The accommodated my needs in every way. If you are ever in Hamilton or anywhere nearby I highly recommend The Courtyard Marriott

One of the nicest things about being a gamer nerd is the plethora of game conventions out there. Even outside of the«Big Two” – Gen Con in Indianapolis and the Origins Game Fair in Columbus – there are a ton of great local conventions all over the country. And, as I’ve been making the rounds to publicize my own roleplaying game, we tend to spend a fair amount of time in hotels and restaurants! Earlier this month, Jules and I spent the weekend down in Hamilton, set for a full slate of demo games at this year’s CincyCon, which was set in a different location than in years prior. The Courtyard Hamilton was well-appointed and orderly. We were greeted at the door as we entered for check-in and were given a ‘welcome bag’ detailing the numerous attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas around Butler County. Among these were Jungle Jim’s – we’ve been there before, but had I not been set for two full days of demo sessions, we definitely would have made a stop! Our room(which featured one king-sized bed and a sofa) was well-kept and clean. I was interested to see that the hotel featured an energy-efficiency program built into the electrical system. The lights in our room would not function unless you placed your room key into a slot just inside the door; in this way, the lights would stay off while you weren’t in the room, conserving energy. A nice touch which really didn’t impact our stay in any way. Overall, I must say I was pleased with our stay. The bed was comfortable, the room itself was well-appointed, and our convention’s location was with easy reach. Wi-fi was free, too, which is a major plus. I did have a few nitpicks, however. Our room’s layout was built such that it was nigh-impossible to view the TV from the bed. While the sofa was positioned directly in front of the TV, lounging in bed and watching a movie was all but impossible. Also, the Courtyard Hamilton does not feature any sort of continental or gratis breakfast. While they do feature an on-site brunch restaurant, which Jules and I visited early-on, the price was definitely more than the food itself was worth. When CincyCon rolls around next year, I know that Jules and I will be sure to take another room at the Courtyard Hamilton. Give them a go!

I stayed here as part of a wedding party in late September and had a very pleasant experience. Our rooms were ready upon check-in, clean, comfortable, and I really liked the energy saving amenities. The front desk manager, Missy, was super helpful in ensuring that all rooms booked under my party were correct and that check-in and check-out was an easy process. Overall we had a great experience and would stay here again.

The location is the only positive item to discuss with this hotel. Stay only if you need to be close to Hamilton. Assistant/Night Manager was rude and not helpful. Other hotel guests were having a fight a few rooms down. Security took forever to handle the situation. Photo of pool is very miss-leading. Very small. When we checked out, the restaurant added charges to our bill for meals. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant. The desk manager fixed the problem but, we should not have been charged in the first place. I would suggesting moving your trip to other cities just to avoid this hotel.

As the Courtyard is the only halfway decent hotel in Hamilton, the hotel block for our wedding was set up with them. If any other hotel would have been available, I would have cancelled the block and sent our guest elsewhere. Nine months out from the wedding, Marriott repeatedly told guests the hotel(and block) were completely booked. Knowing this wasn’t the case since our save the dates hadn’t even gone out yet, I called and tried to make my own reservation. I too was told the hotel(and block) were booked. When I questioned their statements, I was told once again no rooms were available. Finally I was given a room but told that only the rooms in my block were available. Shockingly, as it got closer, more rooms became available. However as it got closer and closer to the wedding, guests were frequently told no rooms were available. I find this especially hard to believe given that my father in law was able to reserve a room that same day. The rooms are nice and decorated well, but SMALL. My parents reserved a suite where we got ready. Four of us stayed there the night before the wedding. We had been told the room slept 4, but the pullout bed is definitely a twin. If you have more than 3 people, you’ll want to reserve a second room. The staff wasn’t all that friendly either. Others in the bridal party commented how they did everything they were supposed to do and said the correct things, but nothing seemed genuine. However, the hotel did email all guests to let them know of street closures the weekend of the wedding and did their best to ensure that only guests /those with guests were parking in the lot. All in all, Courtyard served its function and everyone coming to the wedding from out of town had a place to stay. But the hotel block and the hotel’s refusal to allow guests to reserve rooms turned out to be a larger headache than I expected.
