10-50 Club

I think it’s closed
Stopped by on Saturday January 30 at 10:30 pm and all lights off, doors locked and very lonely.

I wanted to give 10 – 50 Club a 1 out of 5 to maintain symmetry with its name, but it wasn’t really that bad.
I mean, yes, it is a dive in a nothing exurban town across from a shuttered building. The clientele (both of them) sit on opposite ends of the bar and yell at each other. The bartender is surpassed in incompetence only by the kind old waitress who takes fourteen minutes to write an order taken from a ten item menu.
So, it has its pitfalls. The food is dive-​bar-​licious. Onion rings came out crispy and yet tender inside. Fungi on my mushroom swiss burger seemed fresh, not rubber-​from-​a-​can. Real swiss cheese, plump toasted bun. If anything, just a little too much bun for the 1/​3lb burger.
It was aight. I dunno that I’ll go back, but I wouldn’t shy away from it either.
