No thanks. Each appointment I waited at least 20 – 30 minutes which I normally wouldn’t mind but after I would only spend about a minute with Dr. Jacoby before I felt like she was showing me the door. Nothing was ever fully examined and I still have the exact same skin issue.

Dr. Jacoby is terse and abrasive. She has little to no bedside manner. I had some skin tests done about 2 months ago. I called about a week or two later for results and they said they’d return my call. A few days later I get a call«No, the results take a month for this kind of test.» Okay well you could’ve told me that in your office. I call a month later about 2 – 3 times before I get a call back with my results which were negative and she wants me to get the same test again. NOTHANKYOU. To add insult to injury, I want to pay my bill either online or on the phone and guess what — they only take cash or checks and I have an HSA credit card. «We don’t have a machine that accepts them.» You don’t have a credit card machine? YOUDON’T HAVE A CREDITCARDMACHINE? IT is 2015! Ugh! This place! Don’t go to this office, it’s the worst.

Great doctor. Very unfriendly front desk. This is analogous to a great quality restaurant, with incredibly poor service. While my appointments are thorough, the service is horrible, which I honestly can’t say about any of the other doctors offices that I’ve visited; and trust me, I have many to reference. I’d suggest giving your front desk employees a pep talk; else, I would get rid of them. Their miserable attitude is cancerous to the patients.

In agreement with other reviewers. If you’re someone who wants to leave the office feeling like you’ve been fully examined without a doubt in your mind that nothing was missed, this might not be the place for you. Dr Jacoby is kind and efficient, but does not provide you with any time to ask questions and you have to cut her off mid-sentence if you have something to say. Otherwise, she’s out of the door and on to the next patient in 2 minutes flat. Appointments are usually behind by about 10 – 15 minutes so as long as you plan accordingly it’s not really a big deal. I’ve been a patient for years and I’m always able to get an appointment very quickly within a few days notice which I do appreciate. Like another reviewer said, I return for the smarts and for her efficiency but I do plan on finding another dermatologist in the future who will make me feel more at ease and who will spend more time with me at appointments!

Dr. Jacoby has helped me keep my issues in check for years. She has always given the time necessary to answer my questions and concerns. I never waited more than 10 minutes of my appointed time. Staff is professional and efficient. I have called with problems concerning insurance and call in prescriptions and they are very helpful.

Smart and personable doctor, but hard to get more than 5 minutes of her time, max. Always hurrying; you feel as if you don’t matter in the scheme of the larger schedule, overfull waiting room, etc. The front desk staff in any practice are key, and these folks are perfunctory and not very cheery. I return for the smarts and because I don’t have time to look around for a more pleasant practice.

She knows«her stuff.» But she is always behind on her appts. and the office staff is unapologetic about it. The appointments are always rushed(which makes it even more frustrating when you’ve waited so long). Dr. Jacoby was able to quickly diagnose my «condition.» I just wish her bedside manner matched her intelligence
