Cozy Thai is the best Thai restaurant have been to since moving to the Buffalo area. I love how quaint the inside is and all the food is fabulous. There’s a huge parking lot next to the restaurant.

Service was Horible! Waited over an hour for our food. Waiter had no sense of urgency. Food was ok, but not worth the wait

If the food wasn’t at least decent, I would give my experience today a ZERO. Stopped in for lunch with my family and was barely acknowledged. After finally getting seated after a few minutes(the place was half empty) it took 15 minutes to even ask about our drinks. We ordered food with the drinks, we had no idea when the 1 waiter in the place would come back to our table. After ordering, it took over 45 minutes to get our food. This was off a limited lunch menu. We did see a few fairly large take out orders bring picked up. Long story short, our waiter was terrible, inattentive, my meal was semi-warm by the time I got it. I’m guessing they had to be short staffed in the kitchen and on the floor. For four people to have lunch off of a limited lunch menu took over an hour and a half. Just glad I was off for the day and not trying this during a regular lunch HOUR. Our waiter never even acknowledged the lengthy delay. We even had Regulars sitting at the table next to us and they told a lady(owner?) after she finally showed up that their experience was terrible and they come there often. I won’t be coming back and that stinks. They lost a few customers today.

Absolutely amazing! I was very surprised at how fresh the produce was and the flavors in the pad Thai I had! Made my night and lunch the following day! Well done!

I was very impressed with this restaurant. First of all, the service is great and they are very attentive. I went with the shrimp tempura and chicken pad Thai. Both were awesome. I really liked the noodles in the chicken pad Thai. It’s a pretty big dish and super filling and I still ate almost the entire plate because it was so good. I can’t remember what my mom ordered, but she was also really impressed with it. Prices are also very reasonable and the restaurant is very clean.

We walked in to a semi-full(but mostly already-served) restaurant. After inspecting the menus, we just sat there waiting for about 5 to 10 minutes just to put in our order. We ordered an appetizer(fresh spring rolls) and two entrees(Pad Thai and Green Curry.) Instead of bringing our appetizer first, and then the entrees, they brought everything together… an hour of waiting. I’ll repeat that. WEWAITED A FULLHOUR despite almost everyone who was there before us already having their food, and we didn’t even get the appetizer we ordered before the entrees. By the time we had gotten our food, the whole place had been empty except for one other table of two, and they were done with their food and just drinking wine. Our water levels haven’t even been checked. This service is unacceptably slow. I will update if the food is unbelievably good compared to the other Thai options in Buffalo. ============== UPDATE: The food was quite good, however, I believe every other Thai restaurant in the area [that I’ve been too] has been just as good. The owner did come over and was very friendly. He apologized for the wait without us saying anything about it, and I heard him talking to another table about how he was unsatisfied with the turnaround time, currently. That makes me think it could be an issue with the kitchen size, or some such thing. Still, this place has been under new ownership long enough at this point that it should have ‘growing pains’ like that worked out. Back to the food for a minute — the portion sizes were enough that even starving, we still had to get takeout boxes. The green curry dish relies on rice as the base, and I had consumed all the rice with what I had eaten, but still had green curry left over. They gave me a separate container full of rice, which was plenty for the other half(ish) of the curry when I reheated it the next day. I don’t believe they charged me for the extra rice(rice is super cheap, so this is more about good service than pricing.) All in all, I don’t think I’ll be going back to this place unless I have a ton of time, or if I can call ahead to make sure the place is empty.

I’m vegan and needed to find a place to eat in Hamburg. I always go for ethnic restaurants because they usually have many plant-based options. This place did not disappoint. The tofu pad thai was delicious as well as the peanut sauce and spring roll on the side. The service was also excellent. Very friendly, nice atmosphere.

Very good. We drove from East Aurora 35 mins to try this food. From NYC we had high expectations which was met. Price was very reasonable and the food was very good. We had calamari, papaya salad, pad kee mao and pineapple fried rice. Didn’t expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The food was very flavorful and both me and my coworker was very happy with the food. The restaurant is very cozy. It is the first floor of a house and the owner of the restaurant is hands on and works there. She took our order and was very engaging. Since we were in town for work, our schedule did not permit us to come till the tail end of the week. However, if we were to be there again, we probably would have dinner there more often. Highly recommend!

The food is alright. Not really spicy and kind of boring. Service was great very friendly staff. The food is just Meh. If you come here order the spring rolls they ate very good and they have tiger beer. Way better Thai in Buffalo. Try king and I.

Best Thai outside of downtown buffalo. All of the curry’s are awesome and the basil fried rice & pad see ew have become favorites. The appetizers are all equally delicious. We started getting take out from here a year ago and have been delighted with all of our orders. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Outstanding service, décor and food. From the time we arrived, they were very accommodating and provided excellent service. The place is clean and lively and the food was outstanding. You can tell the people who own this restaurant know what they are doing. You can’t go wrong with this restaurant if you are looking for good Thai/Asian food. Don’t hesitate to come to eat here. Outstanding.

This place is one of the best Thai places I have ever eaten at. When we told them to make our food spicier, they managed to made it spicier without disturbing the original taste which is a very rare scenario. Their portion sizes are ample. Ambiance and service are good.

Stopped in for lunch and am glad I did. I arrived about 11:30 but waited in my car a couple minutes as they were just opening. Walked in and was seated by the waiter in a corner table and given a menu. I had the whole place to myself! Looked over the menu and decided on the Thai Basil Fried Rice(medium) as it seemed to be their popular dish. It was a few minutes before the waiter came back for the drink order. The waiter did come back and took my drink and food order at the same time.(It really wasn’t too long I was just a little pressed for time). I also ordered a glass of water and spring roll. Luckily the food came pretty quickly. Spring roll and water first and followed immediately by the Thai Basil Fried Rice. I took a bite out of the spring roll but it was extremely hot so I put it down and dug into the rice dish. The dish was nice and hot but still edible. I ate some of the rice dish which was very fresh and light. I enjoyed it not being stale and heavy like Chinese food. The flower was great but not as spicy as I’d hoped. The waiter came back once and asked if it was to which I replied«yes» as to be polite. I went back and forth between the rice dish and the spring roll and both were delicious! Seeking a bit more flavor to the rice(and not wanting to waste anything) I ended up dumping the diipping sauce that came with the spring roll over the rice! Yum! Took a little longer to finish the food as there’s more food in that plate then there looks like. The décor of the place is pretty cool. There are two dining rooms with old SOLID wooden tables and chairs. The tables are covered with white table clothes and glass. It’s a very intimate(though not romantic) atmosphere. Sort of feels like you’re having a meal at your favorite aunts house! The waiter was working the front and since I was in a hurry I went up and paid for my meal in the way out. He sincerely asked me how everything was and I told him it was very delicious but I could have been a little braver and went with more spice. He explained the tend to lean to the conservative side as a lot of people think they can handle the spice but really can’t. We shared a laugh and a moment and I left knowing I’d be back again!

Ok what just happened? And where am I? I feel as if I just had dinner in a secret place near the beach in Phuket. I never would have guessed that delicious, beautiful, authentic Thai food would we found on an offshoot of Main Street in Hamburg. The vegetable soup was flavorful and filled with perfectly cooked veggies. The broth was well balanced — not too salty not too much fish sauce. The beef salad — I’m not sure how to describe the spicy perfection of charbroiled thin strips of beef, tomatoes and cucumber and lettuce and lime and Thai seasoning, except to say it was heavenly. The service was fantastic and the establishment was clean and very tastefully decorated. I can’t wait to come back

John M. five reviews down is full of crap. Five stars isn’t enough. Great price, perfect portions and delicious food! This place is in my top 3 Thai food joints of all time. Panang curry with the house chili and garlic sauce is amazing. Just top notch! If you’re in Hamburg, NY treat yourself and track this place down.

$ 7 lunch specials that you will have a hard time finishing. Good quality ingredients for the money and my server was great. Would highly recommend. I got the chicken pad Thai which was good but I wish I got spicy instead of medium. The vege soup and a side of rice. Way too much food but a good cheap lunch.
