Have to say, as far as drinks go, Racetrack has better gatorade than QT. It’s more flavorful.
This location is always clean, employees are friendly~

Giving them one star because it’s the minimum. This place is terrible! Long line every time. Employees standing around or doing other things while the LINE GETS LONGER! Also, bathroom always filthy and pumps malfunction. Racetrac is obviously on the way out. Would go to a quik trip any time over any racetrac.

I grew up in a city on I-​10. we had tons of huge gas stations like RaceTrac. living in Austin you dont see these corporate oil behemoths so much. nor do you benefit from all the goodness of evilness.
RaceTrac has enough fountain soda variety to give anyone a kidney infection. If your thirsty you can find every energy drink ever here and even get a 40oz fountain energy drink if that’s your thing.
They also take gas station food to a whole new level, anything you can deep fry or turn into a hot dog like stick exists here, sure the food sits under heat lamps and is stared at by truck drivers all day, but what you expect from a gas station meal.
I do enjoy stopping at huge gas stations like this. I admit I kinda like the crappy food and huge drinks. If you can stop at one of these over a small gas station, I’d says bury that voice that tells you to support the smaller local store and go here.

Cool place, and the dude behind the counter was funny too. He knew I was from out of town and was super friendly. Even recommended a cool spot to get some decent Mexican food.

Just like any other RaceTrac gas station.
I pulled in, paid at the pump, refueled, and left.
For those of you that don’t know about RaceTrac, it’s almost the equivalent of a QT (aka QuikTrip).
The gas cost about the same as QuikTrip (though I don’t think they guarantee their gas at RaceTrac), so it’s usually the cheapest fuel available in the immediate area (especially compared to smaller stations).
And the prices /​selection of items in the store are usually pretty good as well.
