Staff sitting on sofa with shoes off playing on cell, took no interest in helping me check in. The initial key card didn’t open the door, so I had to lug all my bags back to the front desk & have her re-swipe the card. Entering the room, the light switch didn’t work, or light had burnt out & had not been replaced. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart, there was a huge hole. The bathroom did not look or smell clean, & no toiletries! The TV was an old box TV, remote didn’t work, & none of the channels came in clearly. The WiFi wasn’t working, & I called twice both times the woman at the front let the phone ring several times before answering, & instead of offering help simply replied that«Nobody else was complaining!» I’d never gone a single night without being able to skype & say good night to my children, so this got me very upset. I tried over and over on my laptop while sitting on the bed, began itching, soon was so bad I decided to just leave. There is nobody in the lobby at the time I left so I had to toss my key card in a slot– is what the tired clerk told me when I ended up in the rain outside calling the hotel from my cell letting them know I was leaving and not staying the night. I was so upset & found out later it was fleas they had in the hotel, that was why I was itchy. I’d never stay there again, rather sleep in the rental car, which is what I ended up doing that night!

Please don’t ever think about staying here. I found it online and chose it based solely on price. Upon entering the lobby, you are greeted by no one. Minutes later, a woman appeared and tried to convince me I had booked a smoking room, although I’ve never smoked. She managed to find me one of the«suites.» After prepaying for my 3-night stay(prepay=classy establishment), I took my keys and walked down the hall towards my room. I passed the«fitness center», or more accurately, the«closet of broken 90’s fitness equipment.» On to the«suite.» Whilst many budget hotel rooms are fairly Spartan, this room leaves competitors in the dust(& grime & blood and mildew). Bathroom: shower has mildew and an overall appearance of the laziest caulking job in history. However, the hot water did function. Toilet: clogged twice for no apparent reason. Sink: no stopper, no problem. On to the living area. Telephone: handwritten list of helpful numbers. Best of all, inexplicable red stains on the wall — blood, wine, juice, who knows? One gets the feeling this establishment has been featured in multiple police reports, none of which say«this is a nice place where nothing happens.» My room in particular seems to have hosted multiple violent crimes. Other reviews have made negative comments about the neighborhood, but I ran through the local housing and it was fine: it’s the hotel dragging down the property values. Amenities: Wifi works intermittently. «Continental» Breakfast will make you wish you were on a different continent. 2 Tupperware containers of Froot Loops and Raisin Bran, a few slices of bread that were fresh sometime in the past, and a few donettes. Not enough cream & sugar to make the coffee palatable. Pool: I didn’t get in there, but it is probably the cleanest part of the hotel, due to the chlorination. Forget your key coming back from the pool? No worries, the side entrance door never fully closes so anyone can get in, anytime. Anyone. I doubt that any prostitute would knowingly visit here, though. If you have children and stay here, you are a bad parent. Honestly. Don’t ever stay here if you value luxuries like personal safety, cleanliness, and self-respect. Go away.

Worst hotel ever! Please don’t stay here. I had some car trouble and travel issues driving from Houston to Dallas TX and unfortunately I was not able to reach the hotel? s location until around 4AM and it took an extra 30−45min of circling the area in order to find the hotel likely due to the road construction and lack of signs. After finally getting to the front desk window my finance and I stood there for a good 15 – 20 min picking up the phone and ringing the buzzer to try and get someone to come help us. We were unsuccessful and very frustrated that no one was available. We also tried calling the hotel number on my cell phone but no one was there to pick up the phone. Since we had prepaid for the room on and were not sure we would be able to get a refund we decided to take a nap in the car outside and wait until 6:30AM(they had a sign that advertised breakfast starting then). Around 6:30AM I again came to the front window and no one was available. I again tried calling ringing the doorbell and waiting. At this point I was extremely frustrated because I was sleep deprived and exhausted from driving all night. I decided try and enter the main hallway. To my surprised the door was completely unlocked and I did not require a key to enter the premises. I walked down the hall and the breakfast area was still locked and dark. Also there was a large hole in the ceiling where water was dripping into a large basin and overflowing onto the carpet. Also a few empty hotel rooms were open. I walked into a random room and called the operator and finally got a hold of one of the staff. I met her [Nisha Patel] up at the front window. I explained to her what had happened and she became very defensive and accused me of lying about when I came and asked why I didn? t call. I tried to calmly explain that I had been calling and no one was answering the phone. She adamantly denied that possibility and accused me that I was lying about my arrival time. At this point I was offended and shocked that I would be treated in this manner. At this point she said she was going to check the video cameras b/c she didn? t believe anything I was saying and I replied that was fine with me and I went to get my finance(who was sleeping in the car) to come corroborate my story. My finance and I again explained to her what had occurred and again we were treated in a disrespectful way and at that point we asked to speak to her supervisor. She replied that no supervisor was available b/c of the holiday weekend and would not be back until Monday and at that point I couldn? t ever speak because I was so angry. In the end my finance just told her to get us a room b/c we just wanted to sleep and didn? t want to deal with finding another hotel. Overall I’m thoroughly disappointed with my stay and would never stay at this location ever again.
