Great location between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. This is a very nice, very clean modern building. The pool area is fantastic and the beach area is great. They have beach chairs! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that there is no restaurant or bar like some other condos have. That wasn’t a huge deal but would have enjoyed that service. It’s close to shopping and easy to get to the grocery store.

I’m glad I opted to stay at a resort-style condo during YSB15 and 20 minutes away from Fort Lauderdale, and even further from Miami. When on vacation, I tend to stay away from the chaos of metropolitan areas and nearby colleges. Hallandale Beach was perfect, as everything was conveniently located within minutes of shopping & dining(various supermarkets, restaurants, Walgreens, CVS, thrift stores). There’s even a beautiful mall & racetrack casino nearby called Gulfstream. I didn’t know such a trendy shopping center existed outdoors, felt as though I was in some parts of SoCal, besides the humidity. I like to compare this to my vacations in Oahu, where I choose not to stay in Waikiki, I’d rather stay in Ko’Olina, where the lagoons are less busy and more private. By staying here, nobody random can just walk onto the beach. Guests have to use a keyless remote to gain entry to all parts of the building i.e., pool & hot tub, common area, private beach, condo, gym, sauna, etc. An employee sits down there to monitor the guests(no lifeguard), and checks your wristband to ensure you’re staying here. There’s a nice area for pets and poopie bags available. Decent size business center with a trendy lobby to wait for your guests who may visit during your stay. Valet is friendly and speaks English well. Prices per night can range from $ 250 – 500, depending on peak or off-peak season. There are Penthouses available as well. I was told New Yorkers come here to stay and escape from the cold — I would totally do the same, as it’s home away from home. I’m sure I speak for everyone if we could stay in a luxury beachfront condo for weeks/months, we would not get tired of living this way. Fully equipped condo with views of the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal just makes one want to live here and set your worries free. My girlfriend and I felt so safe with 24hr security, and we each had our own bedroom and bathroom, didn’t have to share anything. Extremely peaceful, we’d wake up watching people swim in the Atlantic Ocean, play tennis, kick it at the beach, and some mornings, we just wanted to sit on the balcony with our coffee & chat. Washer/dryer inside the unit made life much easier. I’m not fond of humid places, so I changed and showered often, and the washer/dryer is super convenient. The only thing I would suggest is building a restaurant on-site. I dined at another condo resort across the street and realized the view was only the intracoastal. Just imagine if this place had a restaurant for guests/non-guests, it would be facing the ocean — priceless!
