I love the store but they never have my favorite candy. The women who runs the store is friendly but not much help. They have tons of sweet candy and not much sour They also carry silly toys for young kids.

I have been wanting to go in this shop for a LONG time, finally had a excuse as I was on the hunt for Hammond Ribbon Candy. The staff/owner was chatting with a friend(who did not buy anything BTW), I was not greeted, I felt bad interrupting their conversation but, wanted to know if they had the candy I was looking for, thankfully they did. I continued to browse the store looking for stocking stuffers ect., they have a decent selection of retro candy, and LOTS of cute seasonal decorations. I like to shop local but, I just can’t say whether I will be back in this store, I did not feel welcome at all. I just don’t get it, times are tough for most people and if you are going to spend high prices to buy local it would at least be nice to have some decent customer service!!! I said to(who I believe is the owner) «I have lived here a year, so glad I finally stopped it, looks like a great place for stocking stuffers» her reply… SILENCE I have been in business for myself most of my life, a smile and a little conversation can go a long way to help your business succeed! On a happy note, my son(who is home sick) loved the ribbon candy… his smile when he saw my surprise made my day!!!

Simply Delicious has an impressive selection of candy and toys, plus housemade fudge($ 15.99/lb) and a dash of Halloween spirit. They can put together gift baskets for you or provide lots of things to fill a basket you create on your own. The fudge(20 flavors to choose from) came in creative flavors like watermelon(looked like watermelon too), lavender, and creamsicle. They have Jelly Bellies(sold by weight, not all the flavors), gum, lollipops, licorice(domestic & imported), bacon drink tabs, gummi candy, chocolates, sugar free candy, etc. The toys included lunch boxes, wind-up toys, kits, sock monkeys and Mad Libs. There’s a small section devoted to cupcake themed items.

I had to go in. I can smell the chocolates outside. Mish L got me going. Mish– still your fault! I was able to stop myself and just bought what I thought little treats that I haven’t tried yet. By little means a couple of the Pumpkin Cheesecake and something that’s shaped like a little heart in dark chocolate. Total $ 2+! score! Both are yummy smooth. My favorite is the Pumpkin Cheesecake… it was very cheesy and pumpkin tasting all packed in a tiny little marble sized goodness! The staff behind the counter was friendly. The whole store smelled of dreamy chocolate. I also saw some reminders of the upcoming V-Day celebration. Heart shaped goodies waiting for lovers to share.

First time I saw this place, I stayed out thinking it was nothing but candy. You see, I don’t eat a lot of candy. Today I finally poked my head inside and found a lot of neat little things. Of course, it’s the holidays, so they had lots of ornaments and the like. There were also a lot of neat little gifts that could make great stocking stuffers, or just neat little gifts. Unfortunately, however, I found the prices of most items more than what I cared to part with. But it’s a darling little shop :)

A spontaneous drive down towards Pacifica today turned into a drive down to El Granada, then on to Half Moon Bay. Since the sun was out, the boo and I were on a mad hunt for some Jamba Juice. We finally found a little shopping plaza and there it was! The Jamba Juice… and right next to it… Simply Delicious Sweets and Treats! Of course the candy bins caught my eye. So we went in. This candy store had some things that reminded me of my childhood… and had the candy I ate as a kid too! They sell all sorts of candies… hard candy, gummy candy, chocolate, etc. They also had a bunch of stuff for Valentine’s Day and St. Patty’s. Some of the prices were a little steep for candy I thought. Anyway, overall, a quaint little shop.

My daughter who is a candy connoisseur is in love with this candy shop! Found it one day while waiting on her in Half Moon Bay. Wow! First … they make fudge dipped marshmallows! Mmmmmm I love the plain ones. They also make them with sprinkles and other stuff. If they don;t have plain, I’ll get one of the others. They are incredible. Even when watching what I am consuming I will get one when we stop in there. Can’t help it and you know… gotta live and enjoy life! At Easter time they had edible easter grass. What a hit with my kids! I purchased items for their Easter baskets and took them with us to our vacation at Disney. It was SUCH a hit! They have old fashioned candies and really great gourmet items. and stuff in between. 6÷13÷07: Just went here today to get a Candy Bouquet for my daughters 8th grade graduation. You pick out the items you’d like in the bouquet and they will wrap it in a colored paper cone, arranged nicely, wrapped with celophane, tied with a ribbon. ready to go! It looked beautiful and my daughter LOVED it!

I came in one day and asked for the tiniest slice of fudge, and the lady at the counter gladly gave it to me. Four stars because it tasted a bit dry — go on weekends when more people are buying fudge because it will probably be fresher.
