The current commodore, Natalie Strum, past commodore Neil and the secretary meet with me to offer a heartfelt apology. They shared that this incident will be used as an opportunity to grow. What I sensed was that these active members cared a lot about the Club and the experiences of their members and guest. My family has been invited back, encouraged to become active, and get to know all of the different personalities that make up our coastside community Yacht Club. . Desi.

Recently joined the club and love it. It’s a bit eclectic with a combination of old and new in the facility, but the vibe is fantastic. This is a club for people who love to sail and everything is done by volunteers. They have a fantastic sailing program, and even allow members to take out Cal20’s and Lasers once they been checked out — and there is no fee for this to members.(They offer courses for those who might need some training before being checked out.) Another great thing they have is a youth sailing program for kids ages 8 – 16. They also have kayaks and SUPs(stand up paddle boards) for members to use without any additional charge other than membership dues which are extremely reasonable.(As of this writing, $ 50 mo after initiation fee.) The members are all super friendly and it’s also dog friendly. They also have dinners on Friday night that are a nice opportunity to get to know the other members.
