Staff is great and the beds are super clean!

My husband has a membership there since 2009 and I have been going there the last 2 years but not anymore. Went April 1 to sign up. I was quickly told that I missed there special tanning by 1 day. So my options were sign up for 2 months for $ 39.99 each month or tan for 1 month for $ 64.99. I’m gone for most of May so that was not an option and why would I tan for 1 month for $ 64.99 when I can go elsewhere for the same beds at $ 39.00. Called customer service and she told me I could tan for $ 39.00 cancel or freeze my membership until I’m ready to use it again. Back to sun tan city but a different location and they would not do it, stated they were wrong. What’s wrong with customer service today? Will not be back. Shame on them!

Great Tanning Salon. Its nice to have a variety of tanning beds from basic at a lower price point and the newer upgraded tanning beds to a higher price point. The staff is knowledgeable and the salon is clean. The membership provides you deals and the ability to tan in the level one beds for free. If you forget to bring your tanning googles you can always buy a pair of winkies that are disposable tanning googles for less than a dollar.

Tried this place out for the first time today. Since I’m going somewhere warm for spring break in a few weeks, I thought I better get my tan on!
I had a great experience here. The employee who helped me was very friendly! She gave me a short tour and made me feel very comfortable. I even got a few free passes for a friend to come with me the next time! How awesome is that?!
The tanning experience itself was great– was put in a «faster» bed, and I am pleased with the results. After not tanning for awhile, I was a little cautious about getting burned, but that did not happen today!
The place was SUPER busy on a Saturday morning. Very popular, high quality equipment and service– definitely looking forward to tanning here for the next few weeks :)

I was thinking about doing a spray tan and I had seen that STC offered a free first time spray tan on Mondays — Thursdays so I stopped in when in the area to find out more about it. I had a great first time experience when a nice girl took me in to show me the spray booth and went over pretty much everything there was to know about spray tan. She took her time, was friendly and didn’t try to sell anything. I left very happy and would be coming back to give it a try.
About a day or two later I returned with a family member to give this spray thing a try. The nice girl I dealt with was not there and unfortunately I didn’t get her name because I would have given her the props she deserves, instead we got someone else. When we went over it with this new gal, she was very snotty and short with her answers like we were wasting her time. She had us fill out paper work and got us in the system and when I questioned certain parts of the form she was nothing but rude and didn’t want to answer. I had asked what DHA was since the form stated the spray contains it and per the FDA to ask the associate for more information. Since I was leery because it was a warning, I asked and you would have thought I insulted her mother. She rolled her eyes and snapped at me and answered me like I was the dumb one. Funny because she didn’t answer my question at all, just talked in circles and stated what it was, not WHY there was a warning.
She then tried to sell us products telling us we «needed» these to help our spray tan. Ummm, NO — just want to try the freebie, not interested in buying lotions if I don’t like it. This just set her over the edge. Hmmm, work on commission much? It was obvious since she wasn’t’ making money off of us she didn’t want to deal with us. She gave us to someone else to deal with. NICE!
I left p*ssed off and found another location to go to. Next location was completely different and have stayed with it since. I do NOT recommend this location unless you don’t care about the rude service.
