I have to say, I was so scared going into this place but Joseph is amazing and very professional and made the experience better than I thought it was going to be. He gave a lot of information and was very easy to talk to which made me a lot more comfortable. He also knew all about PCOS and people with hirsuteness problems because of it.
I came in for underarm treatment and so far I’ve only had one session. I need to come back for another but that first session got rid of probably about 80−90% of my hair. I found Freedom Laser on Instagram actually, because one of my friends tagged me in a post of theirs. I never thought I would end up being a customer of a place someone tagged me in on instagram but when I saw the results and the process in the clips they posted, I was very convinced.
A few messages back and forth between myself and the laser technician and owner, Joseph and my appointment was set up. He answered all my questions beforehand and quoted me something that was FAR more affordable than I originally had thought. It was really fair and an incredible value for someone like me who has some seriously thick hair because of PCOS.
Now, before Freedom Laser, I used to go to get waxed by a few different technicians at a salon and even though the laser, for me, was a bit more painful, I haven’t needed to shave in almost two months so far. (I’m far overdue for my return visit because things have been hectic, but can’t wait to get rid of the rest of it!) In the end, you will save so much money compared to having to wax because the hairloss is permanent. You just need to make sure that the laser actually gets all the hair and because there are different hair cycles as well as different hair thicknesses, one session won’t get rid of it all.
As for the pain, it kind of stung more than I would’ve liked it to – I’m kind of really sensitive skin wise but oddly enough I have a high pain tolerance when it comes to things like getting bumps and bruises and hard workouts. For normal people, however, the treatment can be practically painless. My girlfriends have normal hair and it’s thin and girly and I have very thick hair. The thicker the hair, I think the more effective the laser but you will also feel more pain because you have more that is getting heated and zapped.
All in all though, it was so worth it. To be able to never have to shave again? Definitely worth the cost and the stinging. I am so happy with my results and the actual change in my life and convenience it’s brought me. If you’re going for laser, you’re not just investing in hairloss, it’s also a life-​change, convenience, and confidence that you’re getting.

I have also had a mole removed about a month ago on my inner thigh and its healing amazing! It didn’t hurt much at all and was easy to care for afterwords, it was removed with a laser, so no bleeding!

Joe is absolutely amazing and a magician when it comes to laser hair removal. I have been going to him for over a year for what started as just a full leg and I have added several other areas. I have very pale skin and I could not go a day without seeing black hairs. Instantly I could tell a difference. After each visit my hair became less and what did come in was lighter and thinner. Joe has also done laser facials on my mother and she has been mistaken for my sister several times. You can no longer see several sun spots and her face is much smoother. Went back to see Joseph for the laser facial and mole removal and, once again, am really impressed by the services, fair pricing, and professionalism. The facial is painless, and right away it reduced the inflammation from red spots that I had. The evenness of my skin continued to improve over the next few days and even now (a couple months later) when I do have little breakouts, they are not as bad as they used to be. The mole removal was somewhat painful, but since it was done with a laser, there was no bleeding and only the mole was removed; it went by pretty quickly. It took about a month for the scars to form and become totally solid where the moles were. At this point, the scars are continuing to heal and fade.

I had such a great experience at Freedom Laser! I purchased a groupon for six treatments but I had no hair growth after three and even though Joseph made no additional money, he insisted we finish the treatments in order to do the job right!
Joseph is so personable and makes you feel super comfortable. He makes you feel like you’re old friends. I highly recommend anyone getting laser hair removal done here! It’s great quality work and Joseph is generous with his laser and gets all the annoying hairs that aren’t even in the area he’s working on.

I rest in agreement with what every other reviewer has said about Freedom Laser, and will expound further on two points i did not really see in the other reviews. Results and Price.
First, you must know something. I am Armenian. I don’t know if this means anything to you, but basically Armenian people are the fuel to the flame of laser hair removal. Imagine a gorgeous, naturally hairless Asian person with amazing smooth skin. Now think the exact opposite of that person and tell that Asian beauty to get out of here and stop talking to me. That is an Armenian.
Since i was in high school, i had this stupid stupid black hair that grew on my neck, upper lip, chin, sideburns. you get the picture. I tried as best i could to maintain and keep it under wraps, but I have a full time job, ya know? A girl can only dedicate so much time.
So i went to see Joseph, almost on a whim (after an «i’ve had enough of this!» moment). I was thrilled. He was so down to earth, informative and professional. And he was excited for me! Which was cool.
Results: Last night I had my second treatment on my face. After the first treatment, it was red and little bumpy for about 4 – 5 days (easily covered with makeup). After that, the hair began to just fall out and disappear and barely grew back at all! What little did grow back was much thinner and lighter than ever before. Now, after my 2^nd treatment, it is not red at all, my skin is smoother and the hair is gone gone gone! Seriously. It’s a miracle and I wish I had just done it sooner.
Price: I have just been researching to see what the norm is for laser hair removal, and all the prices i’ve found in the well rated business are hundreds and hundreds of dollars more expensive than Joseph. He is beyond fair (i would say generous!) in his prices, which is so refreshing to see in businesses today. He cares about your experience in its entirety and you really feel it.
Bottom line: Do it. Do it now. You won’t regret it and you won’t have to switch to a Ramen diet because of it.

Freedom Laser Hair Removal is the place to go if you want to have laser treatments done! Joseph is very professional and makes sure that you feel comfortable during your sessions. His office is clean and he does a very through job. Joseph tested my skin to be sure the laser was set at the right strength. He also was very generous in getting all areas and stray hairs. I purchased the Groupon for the bikini area and have added my underarms to the treatments. I am hoping to go back to have my legs done by him.

I’m giving 5 stars because Joseph earned them! Great friendly service, very professional, very clean and my expectations were exceeded. I’ve had three different laser treatments by Joseph at Freedom Laser Hair Removal and I’m scheduled for more.
First I had the Hibiscus Facial. A one of a kind facial that raises the bar on facials. It’s a class of it’s own and I loved it! Joseph made me feel comfortable and confident that I was safe with the laser treatment, asking me lots of questions about my skin, having me fill out paper work and evaluating it, then testing a small area of skin.
To my wonderful surprise, my skin loved the treatment and I felt like it was transformed to baby skin! Not only was it soft and smooth, but the Rosacea I’ve struggled with for years went away! I said, «Joseph, you didn’t tell me it would take away the Rosacea!» He said, «I don’t make promises, but that is one of conditions the laser can really help on some people.» My face looks and feels younger since this amazing treatment.
My next treatment was under arm hair removal. I also loved the results. There is a little pinching sensation where the hairs were (less then plucking my eye brows). His new machine, the Zimmer, cooled and calmed my skin throughout the process. My skin was smooth and hair free. No more cuts and rashes from arm pit shaving!
I had a few stray hairs on my upper lip which he removed in a matter of seconds.
Next, since my confidence was soaring, I tried another treatment on my legs and was delighted again by the results.

Amazing atmosphere, he is flexible on scheduling, and has some of the best equipment on island. I first went for a Brazilian with a friend, but have extended to legs, arm pits, and even spider veins! He is also reasonably priced and generous with his time. I wouldn’t trust anyone else, nor would I want to be «nickel and dimed» by some of the other places that you may come across.
