Jimmy Geez Sports Bar & Grill

I came here today for lunch at 1pm. I had a corona (wasn’t cold nor hot), I like my beer ice cold. I also had some jersey style wings and small plate of nachos. The wings were amazing, I am a wing fanatic and could eat wings everyday if I could. They were the perfect amount of spicy, the sauce definitely does them justice because they are a bit dry. The small plate of nachos was actually pretty normal size to me I expected it to be smaller so that was nice. The bartender was polite, think he could’ve been a little more detailed when I asked what are the specials and he answered «pretty much beer and wine»… Um okay I guess. Other than that I’ll definitely be coming back and try it again.

The bartenders are friendly and even though they have the GREATEST WINGS AROUND. Their Geezed up steak is Fabulous

only thing that threw me off a little was my friend and I were with a bunch of people and those people left and it was just us two and we’re literally still sitting here with empty cups and trash on the table =(

Best bar in the area. Service is great & the staff on hand is always friendly & personable. They get the time to know you & it’s always great when you walk in & they remember your name. Nothing’s better than heading their on a Friday after a long work week for their $ 1 mugs. The food their is also a major plus & they have plenty of options to choose from. Their B&B sauce is one of a kind & it’s great as a wing sauce or even just for dipping your fries in. Great place to go with friends for a good, fun time

If you don’t give this place 5 stars you’re lying. My only complaint is that I’m addicted to your B and B sauce, blue cheese and chicken wings. Everything on the menu is good and Jim has an amazing staff! Best bar and restaurant in the area!

Although the place is an awkward space, there is something about their wings that keep me coming back. B&B sauce allll the way, on everything and anything. They have these juicy still crunchy piece of art that absorbs all saucey goodness.
It’s even more fun on Trivia nights! There themed nights keep it interesting for families or group of friends to win a little something.

Great environment. Way above your average bar food. Decent selection of beer. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a parking lot which is very helpful in a location like that. Definitely worth checking out!

Heard about this place from some college kids in the gym locker room. Sounded like a hell of a place and a grand old time. So on a reg Sunday I decided to give it a go. Arriving at the place it looked cozy and comfy stuffed on the corner. Small lot in the back for off street parking.
I don’t get into details about décor or interior designs at places we visit but briefly to explain its a nice comfy sized sports bar. Tons of memorabilia and pictures hanging around. All and all the place is worth the visit.
Cold beer (my favorite) and nice size list of drafts. Service was great, pleasant staff and fast waitresses. Always making sure everyone is good and has what they need.
Wings are a must have!!! They def are arguably best wings in NJ

I had sliders as an entrée and they were perfect. My girlfriend enjoyed her chicken parm quesadilla. My mother had «The Giant» with grilled chicken and man what a monster sandwich. All ingredients taste fresh. Food is def made to order and you can taste the quality. Who ever is back there cooking takes pride in serving some kick ass plates !!!

This was my first visit to Jimmy Geez. It was a Saturday at 1pm. It was busier than I had expected. Everyone was sitting at the bar until later on when it got filled up so new arrivals sat at the tables. The theme of the place is the Oakland Raiders. Why, I’m not quite sure. I ate my Oh Geez Burger with steak fries while watching real wrestling, race cars, soccer and college basketball and listening to modern country music which was barely audible with the chatting. The burger was fine and I managed to keep most of it together considering it’s a double burger meal, Sauce dripped out, buns slided around and some messy dining ensued. It’s another burger with a thin and weak lower bun that can’t support the weight of the patty so I had to flip it upside down to finish eating. I somehow consumed the fries after having taken in so many calories already.

Stopped in New Years Eve for wings to go because I had heard raves. Two orders, I asked for them well done and got two flavors of sauce, hot and nuclear. I also ordered a sausage pizza to go.
OK, so all the raves I heard about the wings were unfounded. They were average at best, nothing that I would go back for. And the pizza was just barely edible. Cheap ass cheese, and cheaper ass sausage. It tasted like a reheated frozen pizza.
I’d probably go back with friends and try a burger and have some drinks as the beer I had was ice cold… but I’ll be staying far away from the wings and pizza.

Met up with a few friends from work to celebrate a co-​worker moving in to a new position elsewhere.
Heard that the wings were great and that this was a great place to hang out and get casual.
The wings were absolutely perfect. I could have eaten 100 of them. The drinks were a bit pricey but– if you stick to the drink specials you’ll be fine– the Paterson cops are brutal anyway, it’s best to stick to «just a few»
Love this place and am sooooo looking forward to trying Jimmy Jeez North which is right down the road from my home.

This place has amazing wings! I had the medium hot wings and the teriyaki which were great. Nothing beats there homemade blue cheese which is nothing like I’ve tried before. I definitely will be back

Local dive bar. They seem to have their regulars there, from the moment I stepped in till the second I stepped out we were getting looks and whispers. I’m assuming they were trying to see if anyone knew us? I don’t know… The waitress was real friendly and took care of us quickly. Great place to have a few drinks with friends to hang out or watch the game.

Came for the wings and coming back for the wings plus the great environment, super friendly staff and awesome time. Luckily we went on a busy day and even with that the service was great. Not sure if its always packed like it was (Mets game that got them into the world series!!) Great specials and funny menu.

This is a medium sized dive bar, with plenty of parking and lots of tv’s playing sports. My friends and I came here after a festival to grab some dinner, they were raving about the wings, sadly I was too hungry to just have wings and opted for a chicken sandwich instead. The chicken sandwich itself was just ok, it was chicken, bacon. It was on a Kaiser roll, which made it feel like more bread than meat. The fries were steak fries which I don’t particularly like because they don’t get crunchy at all.
Aside from the very nice person putting down the utensils, the waitresses were not very friendly, one of them was borderline rude. When asked what they had on tap she answered, «Everything you see over there.» Um… sorry it’s a dark bar and I can’t read from a meter away, nasty.
I guess maybe if I had the wings everyone was raving about, but looking around they didn’t look that different from other wings and price wasn’t even cheap considering it is a dive, so no thank you.

Amazing food, wonderful service and a friendly staff. I went for lunch with my family. There were 4 adults and 2 kids. Everyone loved what they had. The aroma in the air of the Buffalo wings will make anyone’s mouth water. I can’t wait to go back and try other menu items. The parking lot is small, so during a rush you may have to park on the street. I didn’t order any cocktails so I can’t tell you if they are mixed well, but my aunt ordered a beer and it was served in a nice cold mug. Definitely a place I will return to.

Best food ever! Food is fresh, love the steak fries with cheese and a chicken wrap. The only thing I wish they would change is they don’t do delivery. If these guys delivered they would make a killing.

A local institution, the wings are great and the bar is a fun place to grab a few.
Definitely a great local bar to visit, especially if you happen to be on campus (WPU is around the corner).

I would barely give this place a 1 star… this was my first time here and I came with a group of ladies… we were celebrating our last day of classes. it had been an incredibly stressful semester… THERE WERE ONLY 7 of us and about 5 or 6 other patrons… please note it was 12:30 in the afternoon… I guess their lunch rush. the bartender screamed at us from behind the bar to be quiet… now we would not have had an issue if the situation was handled differently… as in if the manager came and spoke with us bu that did not happen… the barender and the waitress proceeded to talk about us… in plain view… needless to say we left and will not be returning
Our group was more than ½ of the total people in the bar and our bill was most likely their largest for lunch
