Michelle has opened a great studio~ it is very quaint and very welcoming. If your new to Yoga, this is a great place to start. Michelle welcomes you and you never feel out of place. Also a great studio for well established Yogi’s too! The yoga studio is located inside Vacanti Jiu Jitsu. The studio room is very clean and calming. There are evening and mid morning classes offered.

I have been attending Sol Yoga in Hainesport since June 2014. I was initially draw because of the location, time of classes, type of classes offered and the fact that my boyfriend attends classes at Vacanti Jiu Jitsu. While convenience was my hook, I saw that there was much more to this studio… I was captivated from my first class. Vacanti has a gym-like feel with the Jiu Jitsu and MMA fitness out front; nevertheless, Michelle has done a great job of creating a studio-like feel in the back. The yoga room offers a soothing ambiance with calming wall colors, adjustable lighting, a Buddha fountain, Angel cards and an eclectic mix of yoga music playing softly in the background. The studio features rubber/sports flooring, and offers free use various props including yoga mats, blankets, blocks and straps. Michelle’s classes offer the perfect balance to push you to your edge while getting your to slow down and unwind at the end. She has great energy and a fun demeanor. Michelle tries to incorporate a weekly theme to guide the practice — from chakra-focused themes to body needs — it makes for a unique experience each time. I still remember my first class with Michelle very well… I loved it because she chose sequences that felt new and different. Even though I have been practices yoga since 2004 in a variety of studios in the Greater Philadelphia area, her sequencing was just what my body was craving. After that first class, I walked away feeling softer and my hips felt more open then they have in a long time. Andrea teaches the Slow Flow class on Tuesday evening and I get upset every time I miss it. Andrea is down to earth and someone you can relate to, and she always tries to bring real-life situations into the studio for us to see how we can use yoga day-to-day to cope with daily occurrences — it always makes for a meaningful session. While Andrea starts up slow, her flows will warm up the body and calm the soul, and with her thoughtful posture languaging, you’ll be sure to learn something new each class. Her classes are always a treat, and don’t be surprised if Andrea sneaks a Jack Johnson song or two into her class playlist… and this JJ loving yogi isn’t complaining. Sol Yoga is a great place to begin a love for yoga or continue your practice. And, while I didn’t think it was possible, I have come to love yoga even more since I found Michelle and Andrea.
