Great pub. Plenty of beers to choose from. Plenty of tv’s. The food specials are always good. But pretty much everything on the menu is enjoyable. Great fish and chips, great wings.

Dunleavys is my «go to» local place. The food is always good to excellent which is EXACTLY what I appreciate. There is nothing worse than«production» bar food that tastes consistently mediocre. Their specials menu always offers something out of the comfort zone of most bar type restaurants and their regular menu offering has something for everyone. Some of my favorites are: French onion soup, Ruben, Corned Beef special, Patty melt and hot and honey wings. The draft selection is very good and changes enough to try something new almost every time. Lagunitas is their house IPA which is hard to stray from! They are family/kid friendly. The atmosphere is rustic. Some might not like the worn floors and old bathrooms but I love the personality. It’s refreshing to step away from the chain type places and see what a great mom and pop type a place has to offer!

This place is very love-able. It has character — lots of Irish character. Most definitely a spot I would love to go to during St. Patrick’s Day. I went here just to get out of the house on a Saturday night with my sister. She got a beer and I got some coffee. The bill came to less than $ 4, so that was extremely cheap and pleasant! When we got there, a band was setting up, and they started to play live music. You would think this is a treat, and it certainly was, however the volume was just toooo much for us. We were in a booth and sitting right next to each other and still couldn’t hear each other. We noticed others around us struggling to talk to each other too! While the staff was really nice, and we enjoyed the music, I was itching to leave so that we didn’t have to strain ourselves to talk anymore! The staff said that there is live music twice a month or so, usually on Fri/Sat. The food on the menu looked really good and was relatively cheap. Lots of options from seafood to meat and desserts. I would definitely go back there for dinner! For a cocktail lounge, they didn’t have many options for cocktails. I believe they only had 6 – 8 drinks listed on their menu.

Been going here for a year or so. Service is always quick and nice, drinks come cold, and food is always amazing. Foods I have ordered here: Wings, mild sauce. Penne a la vodka. Onion rings. French onion soup. Crab cakes. All were spectacular. No local place comes close to Dunleavy’s. Will continue going here for years to come!

We like this place. Friendly servers and good food. The bar is huge with a large beer and booze selection. Older joint though, could be a bit more modern inside. The inside is logs and does not match the outside, so thats kind of strange to me, but nice atmosphere overall.

Recently visited this place on my way back from Philly. We Unilocaled the area and saw this had great reviews so we had to try it. The place is your typical Irish Pub but with character. We were promptly seated and the service was good all the way through. I was in the mood for some fish and chips, the Mrs. for some hot wings and soup. I recall ordering an appetizer, but don’t remember what, however our food came out faster than I expected. The fish had two small pieces and more fries, but they were very good. The hot wings my wife ordered were very very good! Will try this next time I go there. Overall, the experience was solid and I recommend checking it out if you are in the area!

I’ve been coming here for years! I really love the place, great food for a reasonable price and of course fantastic beers. The bartenders know A LOT of shots for such a hole in the wall place. I honestly favor this place over many bars.

Love this place, Brian the waiter is best. When we started going to this spot we automatically felt welcome. We at times are a big crowd and can become overwhelming but Brian has always kept the drinks coming. The food is good, wish the wings were bigger but rest of the food is good.

This place looks very seedy from the outside but on the inside it’s a very cozy friendly hometown style sports bar. Good burgers, good cheese fries, and good wings. This place should be renamed Dunlesbo’s though as the last time I came here there were women who were clearly lesbians all over the restaurant which made me feel like I was in a gay bar for a second. They were all very loud and obnoxious. This one at the bar kept talking to the bartender very loudly about the Phillies acting like she really knew what she was talking about because the Phillies were on but he clearly wanted nothing to do with her. She kept turning around and shooting me dirty looks just because I was wearing a Yankees cap. I was getting so annoyed I wanted to flip her off and curse her out. I would give this place five stars for the food, service, and atmosphere but the loud and obnoxious lesbians knock this place down two stars for me

Food was mediocre at best. Nothing really Irish about the menu. Brian the bartender was the worst part. Grade A douche bag! He was slow, inattentive, made multiple mistakes on my food and drink orders. Followed up by a «sorry bro» .I’ll never give the place another chance just because of the horrible service. I guess if you’re not a regular you don’t get service. The bartender over served the gentleman to my right so badly that he almost fell on his face as he stumbled out the door keys in hand.

A farce. I can get over the dirty un swept vestibule. I can get over the ‘krispy saltines‘ wrappers on the floor. Maybe it was busier earlier. We were greeted warmly & imemd sat by a hostess(floor manager/owner type?). I don‘t need atmosphere so I am ok with the well worn floors & booths & feel of a 100+ y/o log cabin.(although if you look closely at the vents up top you will see tons of clumps of dust). Our waitress, Kayla, was indifferent. She started off right by getting our drinks in and back right away. Our small order of wings was quick to us and delicious and done as asked.(In fact it would have been nice to know about the fact they were on sale for football I would have ordered more maybe. Unless I missed it I saw no ad or sign for the promo). Kayla brought out our apps & food on time. Kayla dissappeared. Then reappered and looked lost at the order register. A 2nd beer ordered earlier sat at the bar for 15minutes as we finished our meals. When the meal was mostly done Kayla brought the beer over and was waived off by us. Not only was Kayla ineffcient here, the ‘floor manager‘ type should have maybe noticed and brought it or helped Kayla out… The big fail was teh female bartender so caught up on catching up with one set of people she ignored new custs sitting at bar and the other servers had to raise their voices to get her attn to fix a drink.(This was a slow Sunday night with not alot of ppl around). On this night with hardly anyone, the service from all should have been stellar instead of non existent. In essence it was perhaps the bartenders fail-taking a long time to get to the drink and then letting it sit a long time on bar without seieng who ordered it and kindly bringing it over. So yes Kayla was ‘ehhh‘ but not a deal stopper. The floor mgr type(a mid aged woman with sandy blond type pulled back hair in black) maybe could have done better at the lone beer on the counter for so long. But the biggest fail was the socializing female bartender who failed on many points. Bad bartending missy. As to the food as said the wings– A++ as ordered and cheap for football. The soup= potato soup was ‘ok‘. The burgers were very bland, not seasoned kind of tasteless really even with doctoring up tableside. The fries were frozen crinkly type. Oh yeas the deceptive menu. When I asked about ‘onion chips ‘ on the special apps menu if they were in house, Kayla ran to kitchen and sheepishly provided that they were frozen from a factory as were the ‘lightly breaded‘ mozz sticks on menu… So its a pub that buys frozen and drops stuff in oil. Wow how creative. Avoid if you can.

Just stopped by for a quick something to eat on the way back from the airport and they had the goods. Big ass burger and the best wings I’ve had since I’ve been here. The have a Guinness BBQ sauce and that hit the spot. Really recommend hitting this place up. Oh and did I mention for the smaller-than-most-sports-bars sqft they have a ton of HD large screen TVs!!!

I stopped in Dunleavy’s for a quick burger and a few beers at the bar. Great mainstream beer selection with plenty of IPA’s. I ordered a bacon blue cheese burger done medium on a toasted bun with a generous portion of crispy fries. Not only did the large burger come out just the way I wanted, so did the fries, nice and crunchy. The burger had to be one of the best I’ve had, down to eating the last bite. Nice atmosphere, family run business attentive service. The reviewer who compares this place to Dadz has got to be kidding.

Good spot to grab 1 or 2 craft beers but they could use way more. With 22 taps available they should have most with craft. Craft is hot right now and brings people in. Get with the times! Now for the food and service. Bartender took my order — 6 wings extra crispy hot with ranch on the side. Seemed simple to me. Nope! Got my wings and just done and blue cheese. I spoke clear what I wanted. Like I said good spot for 1 or 2 craft beers. Dadz is beyond better for food I hope that they have embraced the craft scene. We shall see. I’m headed back to my playground next time. Don’t let me down!

I had the most amazing sandwich at this place. Black & blue… shaved roast beef with crumbled blue cheese on toasted sourdough bread. So, so good. I’ve passed this place for years and never stopped. Was out Christmas shopping and was super hungry. Popped in at lunch time. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Seriously the best sandwich ever. Service was friendly and prompt. I’ll definitely go here again.

Food is good, service is good and the log cabin ambience matches the pub fare found inside. The clientele is as varied as the specials.
