Dk Donuts

Without question the donuts at DK are the best in the area. They’re fresh and scratch made. The building isn’t much to look at but the donuts make up for it.
Unfortunately they’re sorely understaffed. I normally stop by 2 or 3 times a month and get donuts for the office. The last two times I’ve left empty handed because of the abysmal service. I sat at the open drive through window no more than six feet away from the guy standing at the register for literally five minutes without an acknowledgment even after the girl working at the other end pointed out that I was waiting. I understand being busy but simply saying «I’ll be right with you» goes a long way. The donuts are delicious but not worth being late for work because you can’t get waited on! ***update: Four months later I had the same issue again. Although the girl working the register acknowledged me, she proceeded to have a five minute conversation with her customer about her upcoming road trip vacation to Illinois while I waited. I left. Donuts are delicious but not worth it when your business isn’t appreciated.

These donuts are now definitely on our list of must-​haves for each trip to Orlando. They really have perfected pretty much everything about the donut. You will not be disappointed!!! We had a variety of types (we got 8 donuts) and actually ate all of them in a short amount of time. Felt only slightly guilty.
We shared these: bavarian cream, long john, lemon filled, apple fritter, cinnamon cake, old-​fashioned, maple topped yeast, and a bear claw (with apple filling). Oh my!

Decided to visit DK yesterday and was pleasantly surprised — some of the best donuts yet — we will be returning — coffee was good and people there waiting on us were very helpful with our questions.

Only stopped in for the donuts. Very fresh very good. Visiting from Palm Harbor and went to Unilocal for a place to get donuts. I wasn’t disappointed and you won’t be either. Delicious.

The best doughnut we had in the USA. The ones that we had where lovely. I would have them each day but long way to come from the uk. Will be back soon.

Just amazing! Even their breakfast sandwiches and especially their deli sandwiches are to die for!!! Nice and friendly staff. It’s definitely the gem of the town

How have I not reviewed DK’s Donuts before now!!!
The donuts are amazing!!! Seriously. Some of the best donuts I have ever had.
This place is easy to miss and is in an old gas station. Don’t let that fool you.
This place would get 5/​5, but if you go after noon (they are open most days until 4pm), your selection is nil. I’ve been there a couple times around 1−2pm and the selection is not good at all.
My thought is that if you are open until 4pm, you should keep making donuts until around 1pm or so.
That being said, if you get there before noon, your donuts will be delicious and the selection is amazing. Also, the donuts have a TON of filling, which is nice for your taste buds, maybe not for your favorite shirt…

I was a little skeptical about this place judging from the appearance from the outside, but it was not bad. Not the fanciest place in the world, but the food is good. The donuts are very tasty and without a greasy aftertaste. They also have very good breakfast egg sandwiches and lunch menu as well with sandwiches and wraps. If you are not looking for a fancy place for breakfast or lunch, this is a good place to eat.

Best place for breakfast they make the donuts and pasty homemade and they are so good with there coffee the place needs a little remodeling but other then that the food is really good for great tasting donuts n coffee quick n easy. oh and they have lunch sandwich hot off the press the ham n cheese was good.

My first review on Unilocal was removed because of a lack of a substantive consumer experience. My original post was:
You might find yourself driving past DK Donuts but «pump the breaks» because these are the best donuts in America.
Since that glowing review was rejected, I’ll try and paint the picture in a more substantive brush stroke… I discovered DK Donuts on a Sunday morning in October of 2013. There were few establishments open at the time and DK donuts did not stand out. I was quite wrong. I drove past DK Donuts because you can only entire from the north bound side of the street. Well I pulled a hard U-​turn, went in, and ordered a dozen donuts (Don’t judge, they were not all for me.)
The DK Donuts were quite possibly the best donuts I’ve ever had. They were sweet, savory, fresh, and hit the spot.
While I stand by the fact that my initial review was quite satisfactory, hopefully this review will stand the test of time.

Most amazing home made donuts ever. Their breakfast sandwiches are also really good. The price is more then reasonable. Don’t pass this place up.

Doesn’t look like much on the outside, but it sure is worth a stop in! Fresh donuts, nothing stale or reheated like you’ll find in your usual chains. I didn’t expect much of a selection based on previous reviews, but was pleasantly surprised by varieties of cake donuts, crullers, filled donuts and fritters (not to mention other breakfast foods like muffins and bagels). The prices are extremely reasonable too! We paid less than $ 5 for half a dozen donuts. We came here on a visit, but I sure to wish there was a DK Donuts near our hometown in SC!

you cant miss this place it has a big sign. this place was a gas station. not too many selections of donuts. its a change from dunkin donuts .if you like donuts try this place. owner was very friendly.

It is sooo nice to have something besides the cheap and reheated Dunkin’ Donuts (seriously, why are there so many of those in Florida? Go Krispy Kreme!). DK is fresh and great tasting, it is easy to tell they were made fresh that day.
The variety is also nice, and every now and then they have a new kind. It is nice and homely in the shop; makes me want to be a regular *squad goals*.
The only unfortunate thing is that I went in around 5:10 the other morning and they didn’t have a whole lot made. Which is fine, but it is not one of the places where you need to get there right at opening or else you miss the good stuff. But I also would not recommend waiting too long, maybe between six and eight, or else the good stuff will be gone.
All in all this place is awesome and having it so close is nice.

Dk’s is not much to look at from the outside, but man are their donuts good! I’ve been studying like a crazy person lately and you can’t have food in the library so I stop here before going to study and sneak some sustenance into the library to share with my study group. After day one, I was instructed to keep bringing «the good donuts.»
Why would you ever go to Dunkin, when you could go here? My study partner’s favorite is the chocolate frosted raised donut. My favorite is the old fashioned plain cake donut. It has a nice crunch to it in a few spots and so much more flavor than that bland one down the road. I’ve also recently discovered their red velvet cake donut and shut the front door that thing is good.
Keep in mind that their hours are short and try to get there early before they run out of anything.

Hands down the best donuts I’ve had in a long time!!! Their donuts are light and fluffy and very tasty.

This is, without a doubt a hidden gem. Donuts fresher than any chain and made from scratch. Indeed, your taste buds will thank you for stopping here, your waste line well not so much. But hey with donuts this good, you can forget that diet for a day
